what do you think we would have to give detroit to move up to the 2nd over all our 9th and our to 2nds but if we did move up to the 2nd pick i would take (CJ) and maybe try and get a FA QB Vet for a one year deal than go after brohm next year thats imo thoughts>>>??:dolphins:  :dolphins:

If we move up its going to be to get either Jamarcus Russell or Brady Quinn, although CJ is a very tempting pick, as he should be because he is the best reciever to come out in a long time, I believe that the move will be to get one of the 2 QB's...

I think the price is too high to get to that #2 spot. I think we could get a very good QB, Reciever, and OTackle with those 3 picks in place of one top rated guy.

I feel like we have to many needs and this is a deep draft with more talent than most years. I would rather stay put or maybe even trade down a few spots and pick up an extra pick.

mIAMI AINT TRADING UP

Dolphins | Russell could visit team

Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins are interested in speaking with LSU QB JaMarcus Russell, and could bring him to visit as part of their annual visits of college players. They could be considering a scenario where they trade up to the No. 2 overall pick, where the Detroit Lions are listening to offers. The Dolphins currently have the No. 9 pick in the draft, and also have two second-round picks.

well something is going on if they had no intentions on moving up at all they wouldnt even bring them in :dolphins:

Trading up should not even be an option.Standing pat would be tough.Trading down is the obvious way to go.

To many people make trading down to be some wondrous option when the hard facts are that trading down is not something that happens much. Most teams stand pat and take the player they want at the spot they are at.
Im betting we dont trade either up or down.

Well trading up is an option, and if the price is right it might be a very good option, that is the point of weighing your options and investigating all possibilities, and thats what the smart thing to do is.

Im not sure if any move is the "obvious" way to go.

A good front office takes all things into consideration and then makes the best move for the team. Im not saying thats what always happens, but that is what a "good" front office does.

Yes indeed! we are gonna see how good Randy is by what he pulls off in this draft. Im thinking he has an ace up his sleeve and is gonna pull off something unexpected. He seems like a somewhat unpredictable guy and has been staying very quiet this offseason. Why is mare still here?, possibly gonna use him to trade up with? who knows? Theres alot of talent in this years draft I hope our picks are well used this year.

Why trade up for CJ when we have no QB to get him the ball ?...this would be like buying a Ferrari without an engine. :rolleyes2

We could always send them Ricky. Mueller's done it before, lol.

I don't think Miami will make a pick at 9. If they trade up, they MUST take CJ.
