Moving Wallace- A Closer Look

You may have to look inside the draft again and go that route. This will set us up for a healthy cap going forward and develop some young talent. Remember have to decide on Ryan as that will cost us $15-$20 million a year.

IMO, barring a total collapse this year, a decision has already been reached on Tannehill. I fully expect us to sign him long term next year with a cap friendly fist year. I don't see using the big cap hit option unless it is a last resort.

Ross appears to be completely confident in RT taking the team to the next level, and I agree with him. I cannot say that Wallace is the WR to help him do that.

You bring in a Reggie Cobb and it will light his azz up good. Because RT aint gonna be looking to Wallace if he has someone like this and a top draft choice staring at his ars but we can still get something out of him and if we cant, we probly cut him game 6 or trade. A team might be willing to deal at that point but not likely.

Sucking it up in 15 is the new motto.

Cobb is not leaving they have already stated they have plenty enough cap space and he is a priority etc..would love to see him here though.

Maclin and D Thomas may be the only top guys out there but, who knows if they will be, and who else may come available.

Here's a few older name players who some to many have speculated to become available because of money.

Fitz is due to cost Zona $23.6M. They are $2M under the cap. He likely stays or, would cost too much if he does not.

CJ is due to cost the Lions $20.5M. They are $4M under. He very likely stays or, would cost too much if he does not.

Andre Johnson is due $16M. They are $600K under. He is likely to be available at half or less the price.

Bowe is due $14M. Next.

V Jackson is due #12.2M. They are $7M under. He is likely to be available at around $8M, same as Johnson.

Next is Wallace at $12.1M. We shall see but, cannot imagine any other team giving him close to that.

So, could we look at a vet along with a #1 pick this year?

The contract says Philbin has to put up with him for one more year. Then he can bring in another player who questions nothing and accepts everything, even when he sees it is leading to another season without the playoffs. That's a "Philbin guy".

The draft starts April 30. This is a WR rich draft. And with guys who will fight for the ball.

You are not drafting anyone that gives Miami 10 Touchdowns, and Opens up the field like Wallace does, not even Landry can do that. Smoke it up Dude...

Wallace vs Queasy Joe

What is all this debate about Ross and Queasy not knowing what to do with Wallace ? What is Joe Q trying to build here a team of scraps and replacements ? You CAN'T throw one of the most dangerous players away because you can't or don't want to deal with him. In Wallace's defense he's shut his mouth the last two years and hasn't complained as much as other NFL diva wide receivers.

He adapted and changed his game. Forgive him for wanting to show off his talents wanting to do what he knows he can do and what made him an elite receiver and a top free agent. I just don't understand why this team no matter what regime it is keeps unloading good talent, Bush, Davis, Smith, Marshall and now Wallace is up in the air. It's dysfunction at it's best and it doesn't seem to get any better no matter what coach or what system comes in it's just dysfunction from the top!

You want Tannehill to get better but your going to drop a dynamic player who can make him better if used correctly. I just don't get it, does parting ways with Wallace really make this team better ? Here is a solution, why doesn't Queasy suck up his ego, and learn to coach talent ! instead of doing what he does best chicken out and when it gets tough and attitudes rise, he shrivels up and throws them overboard. Wallace will leave and go to another team and be dominant. Then we will sit here and wonder why we can't get top talent to our team. The answer is we have had top talent, this organization just doesn't know how to handle them. :err:

Many keep bringing up his 10 TD's last year. tied for #9 in the NFL, and a VG thing. No one brings up his 5 TD's the year before, tied for # 25 with 13 other WR's including Ted Ginn. What happens this year? No one knows, and no one knows if another WR will do the same, including a rookie.

A) keep wallace for 2015 but be prepared to dump him next offseason
B) jettison Fartline and Gibson (june 1st) and save 9 million
C) draft a WR in 1st or 2nd rd (Parker, White, Strong, Coates, DGB, Funchess etc)
D) Sign a vet WR with money saved from cuts (Fitzgerald, VJax, AJ, or go younger with Nicks)

as mentioned above, important to outfit Tannehill with the best set of weapons possible so we get a better idea of what type of contract he's worth.

Agree, what happen, our coach can only "coach" discipline guys????
