Mueller Doesn't Want To Trade Ricky

A QB in every draft seems a bit excessive to me. I'd think 3 out of 5 or 4 out of 6 would be appropriate, though.
 
good we should keep him anyway. We wouldn't get anything for him neway

I have been saying we will keep him for quite some time. I just posted this in another thread.
Because of the drug issues I dont see anyone else giving him a big deal. I think we will redo his deal at the end of the year and pay him average rb money while forgiving the debt. If we do that any deal he signs with us will be worth 8.6 million more than what we actually pay him, plus it wont count against our cap. I have never seen a team that has this much leverage when dealing with a player. :)
 
I dont think he would come out and say he wanted to trade rick but he did say if they had a flaw and getting high might be a flaw.I would be all for keeping ricky i always loved this guys ability to run thru u or around u hes pretty cheap now to so if we can keep him and use his money on someone else(QB) that would be a bonus.:D
 
Does anyone know if Ricky is back on medication? I haven't heard anything about his disorder since his return. Has the hiatus cured him? Is he back on prescription meds?
 
I don't think that was ever really an option unless we got a #1 for him. We're gonna need to RBs because we can't be put in the situation we were in last year.
 
I'm All for keeping Ricky. Saban knows who Ricky is, he knows how to treat him, how to push him, I believe as long as Saban is around, Ricky and Ronnie will be here too.

qb a year sounds great to me. its not like all your picks make the team anyway

qb is the most important position, so you may as well give yourself as many opportunities as you can to find a gem or trade bait
 
Ricky and Ronnie together for a few seasons will remind me of the days when we could unload csonka, kiick and morris on teams and just bash em throughout the game
 
I'd say ever year is good.

Every other year pick a QB in round 1-4 and the alternate year take one in 4-7.Once you find a few good ones you could just go every other...
 
ricky needs to get incentives cause 285k for him is crap.

he will run for at least 1000 yards and deserves to get a part of the free 2.5 million in salary cap.

i dont think he will get 1000, in fact i dont think he will get much more than 500-600, but i do think he should get a bump in pay to like 500-700k
