Mueller, New Organization

Two weeks ago Alex Marvez reported that he'd fallen out favor within the organization.

Now he's the guy.

Makes perfect sense.

I like Mueller as a scout.
But who brought in Haslet as the Saints coach? Was it Mueller? If so, I'm even less optimistic about our next coach.

The article underscores just how spineless and cowardly Saban was/is. Saban took a backhanded shot at the scouting dept. when he left and made remarks about the inability to acquire good players. Wasn't it Saban who said, "I don't want to throw anybody under the bus, but".
When all along it was Saban who controlled the draft and the acquisition of players. He is a very small man.

It took some enormous balls for Saban to make that comment. What a loser this guy has turned out to be. There is no question who had final personnel decisions, yet he still had the sack to try to deflect the blame onto someone else.

Saints failed cause of Brooks million $$$ arm, 10 cent head.

Exactly. I still remember Mort's story on draft day last year about Saban threatening the medical staff over the Jason Allen pick. I posted it once or twice last year, but no one seemed to have heard it, remembered it, or even believed it. Guess thats when we were all still worshiping the Nickan8er.

Two weeks ago the Phins were courting Caroll and knew if he came aboard he would want full control. Once Caroll was off the radar I think Randy got the nod and has been in control since.

I am still not sold on Mueller....Maybe I am being to hard on him...I would really like to know who made all the offseason moves last year and the year before that....No speculation I need proof to make a accurate read of Mueller.

GREAT POST! Best news I've heard in ages. The structure is what matters and we've fixed it. The rest is merely details.

No. The structure isn't what matters. What matters is the relationship between the GM and the HC. No matter who has the final say, the two have to be on the same page.

Dude, this made my morning!! I am SOOOO freaking stoked at the fact that Miami will have the right people making the player decisions in the draft and FA.
