Mularkey Plans To Keep Using “Wildcat”

Mike Mularkey was the first person to ever use X's and O's to diagram plays.

He also drew up the "Annexation of Puerto Rico"
 
I think Atlanta did run a version of the Wildcat. They had Jerious Norwood where Ronnie Brown is in our vesion, but I don't recall much motion. It was awfully similar to the version Philly ran several times with DeSean Jackson - mostly just running a straight sweep to the side of the unbalanced line.
 
mularky was a genious at running the wr reverse with the fins. We had about a total of 100 of thoe plays and averagedabout 2 yards a carry
 
Is this the same Mularky who we demoted from HC to Coordinator? The one The Jills fans threw a parade for when old man Wilson dumped his butt?

Just checking. I'm sure his offensive peers are sitting there enraptured waiting for his next words of wisdom.

Seriously, I doubt that he will have two solid years back to back calling plays.

How feeble minded is this guy ? I hope someone just brought this up to him, out of the blue..... He obviously doesn't even know what the wildcat is !! They'd better hope the rest of the staff does in ATL. "we never caught anyone off-guard"...... well Mike the wildcat has, from day 1. That's why it has a name. What name do we have for your finest work ??? ..."malarkey".
 
Funniest thing is that Fins fans were laughing at Bills fan for "stealing" Mularkey from us. How bout them apples?

But to be fair, in hindsight, mularkey is a very good offensive coordinator. He made Kordell Stewart a MVP candidate, made Tommy Maddox into a pro bowl QB, and made Matt Ryan a rookie of the year. He also helped Mike Turner be the rushing champ this year. The only QBs he failed with: JP Losman, Joey Harrington, and Cleo Lemon. He is a much better coach than we all gave him credit for.
 
Yea that Mularkey is a real dummy and sucks as a coordinator. He took over as c oordinator for a team that was 23rd ranked in offense and threw them all the way into the dumps and the 6th ranked offense. What a retard. Two of the three years he was the pittsburgh coordinator they were ranked in the top 5, what a tool.


The biggest problem here was he was forced to run the same offense that Linhan had installed as directed by Saban.
