In today's Sun Sentinel, Mularkey was asked about the team's offensive problems (now that Saban's gag order is removed), Mularkey was quoted as saying he "Wasn't sure why the offense struggled this season." It's hard to believe that amidst all the controversy surrounding his playcalling that Mularkey couldn't come up with a single reason for the poor performance. If this is the best insight he can provide, (i.e. "I dunno") do we even want him back as a position coach?

What a Dope!

Dear Wayne,

Please hire me for about a half a day. I'll drive south 6 hours and fire Malarkey for you!
I have experience, I've been firing people for 30 years.

my 3 year old cousin could give you reasons why it wasnt working....but bull-arky can't??? i think he's covering his behind because the rumors are already flying that his job is being held by a thread

That quote says it all

OL, OC, and QB.

The Oline played well considering the injuries, Ronnie got over 1000 yards in just 13 games and the sacks went way down once Joey came in. Put a QB behind the line that play's better and the line looks better.

Maluarkey sucks the reason our O struggled because he was OC everyone saw how productive our O was Scott L.

We can demot Mike Maluarkey from OC and he can be head of handing out hotdogs and beer

hey i am new here can anyone tell me where to get pictures and tell me how to put them on your profile

:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

I think its safe to say we won't be hearing Mularkey talking about the Fins anymore very soon!

Yeah, that quote alone should get him fired. HE'S THE OC and he can't figure it out? That just means he'd run the same old crap out there and do it again, since he see's no reason not to. You have got to be kidding me with this guy. YES WAYNE FIRE HIM YESTERDAY!!!!!

Hard to believe Mularky said that... I'd have expected him to blame Saban for restricting his playcalling before seeing him admit he had NO CLUE what was wrong with the offense. :shakeno:

Buh-bye Mularky!

Did he really say that? I think he knows he's gone after this season. He should go to Alabama or something.

The offense struggled because:
1. The offensive line has too many lazy fat guys who don't have the right attitude/mentality
2. The QB was befuddled trying to read defenses, and thus was sacked way too much (causing turnovers)
3. The primary WR and TE both drop/dropped too many passes at critical moments, which kills/killed many drives
