Titans fired coach Mike Munchak.
Munchak met with Titans CEO Tommy Smith on Friday and was offered a chance to come back with conditions, which reportedly involved significant changes to his coaching staff. He apparently balked at the offer, and will now become the sixth NFL coach fired this offseason.

Anyone think that perhaps Ross gave Philbin the weekend to agree to let Sherman go and if not then he will be fired?

I think everyone stays. Ross values continuity. He wants to give them another year. With a better offensive line and running game we should make the playoffs. We need better players. For Tannehill to be great he's going to need great players around him. I've lost faith in Ireland. He has passed up on to much elite talent for second rate talent and it shows.

Im ok with philbin but if he cant let Sherman go then he has to go. Sherman is holding tannehill back

I suspect that Philbin would cave and fire Sherman to keep his job. But as Hayden has stated a few times :) Sherman would probably resign to avoid a no win situation.

I would like to see Sherman gone for someone else like O keefe or someone to run this offense.

But I think what Sherman is doing here is teaching his QB to live in the pocket. He is probly right in this sense.

but he is wrong when he knows damn well with Incog/Martin that this trainwreck of an OLine needed some extra pop to it and actually RT needs to get some leadership in him and start to change plays into better plays and start forcing the issue in practice and film room to his coach. He needs to have some power now in seeing a defense or a situation and using those rollouts and misdirections to kill a team much like we did last year.

O'Keefe would be an unmitigated disaster.

Yea we wouldn't want to lose the genius coach that was outcoached by the bills and jets the final two weeks.
