Any possible draft picks in this Minnesota-Virginia game?

We all know about Laurence Mauroney and D'Brickashaw Ferguson, but anyone know who else we should be looking for?

Well for one, there's no need for us to keep an eye on Maroney becasue we don't need another RB and Ferguson will go way before it's our turn to pick. There are two players that come to mind that are worth looking at, and they play positions that we are looking to upgrade.

The first one is Minnesota's center Greg Eslinger who is an All-American. The other player is Virgina's LB Ahmad Brooks who leads his team in tackles, and has a lot of sacks too.

You could also keep a small eye on Minnesota RG- Mark Setterstrom..some have him rated in the top 10 of OG.

Minny has 3 offensive linemen that are seniors and are really good.I mean they have to be good to have 2 running backs over 1,000 yards.

Good point.

Al Groh also runs a pro ready team and has had a top ten recruiting class for a number of years now. Injuries is also a factor and their is alot of sleepers IMO. UVA has always put out good LB's and have some potential at WR. Their is alot of people that could slip down the draft into the late rounds that could be steals. The main thing is UVA's pro style D and Offense that would make the players prospects. I don't know much about Minn I'm a strictly ACC man.

Watching this game the guy that keeps popping out at me is #60 Mike Nicholson. I have seen Minn. play a few times but only watched Maroney. 60 just kills guys of the ball on running plays. He looks decent in pass protection also.

I rephrase that. The whole interior line of Minnesota is blowing back the Virginia D-Line.

I have only watched Virginia one other time and that was the VA Tech game. I must say that Brick looks like he is going through the motions out there, like he did in the Tech game. He has been beat to the outside and inside more than 5 times that I can recall and doesn't get much push in the run game either. He is monstrous but that is about all I see.

The Minnesota O-line is dominant against what seems to be a mediocre Virginia pass rush and run D. They are making Cupito look like a Heisman winner. The only player out there on D for Virginia is Brooks, rightly so I guess.

The guys I have highlighted for this game are...

Virginia
RB Lawrence Maroney (#22), 5'11" 205 lbs.
WR Jared Ellerson (#83), 6'1" 200 lbs.
OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson (#66), 6'5" 295 lbs.
OT Brad Butler (#69), 6'8" 292 lbs.
DT Kwakou Robinson (#98), 6'4" 327 lbs.
ILB Ahmad Brookes (#34), 6'5' 259 lbs.

Minnesota
RB Wali Lundy (#33) 5'10" 210 lbs.
OG Mark Setterstrom (#68), 6'3" 295 lbs.
OC Greg Eslinger (#61), 6'3" 285 lbs.
DT Anthony Montgomery (#95), 6'5" 305 lbs.

Incidentally, is Ahmad Brooks planning on coming out? He use to be on all the draft sites but now he's not listed on them anymore. Maybe he's said that he's staying in?

Brooks seems to be going back and forth. The latest I've heard is that he's leaning towards coming out.

So I take it Kwakou Robinson is getting handled on the interior. Ouch. Well, he is facing a pretty good pairing in Mark Setterstrom and Greg Eslinger. Eslinger's the best center in the draft and Setterstrom is a mid-round type guard.
