auburn wins but pretty much a yawner imo. neither team proved dominant last night.kentucky dinked and dunked while the tigers relied on the big plays. of course all eyes were on spiller and this was the first time i've seen him this year. he's speedy and elusive but didn't take over like i'd expected.kentucky's cobb was almost as effective. lb micah johnson went down late (4th) with what appeared to be a knee issue. only other guy that caught my eye was safety deandre mcdaniel. big hitter. i didn't watch the whole thing becuz although close it wasn't that compelling. if the BE crew changed a couple of spots the 'cats win. bottom line i didn't see anybody we just hafta grab.
ps did see hartline's bro on the sidelines. he's a backup uK qb.

If it was Auburn last night instead of Clemson....Kentucky wins the game..lol

I agree though....you had to either be a diehard fan of either team....or doing some serious scouting to stay tuned...

Micah Johnson still doesn't look healthy...and I'm referring prior to hurting his knee at the very end...he's been playing through injury all season...

Deandre McDaniel is a very nice prospect...he has top notch instincts for the position and a ferocious hitter...always in the right spot and takes correct angles to the ball carrier...he's one of my favorite junior prospects at the safety position...

Trevard Lindley wasn't really tested much IMO...and for good reason...

Some guys are football players that happen to be great track athletes...some guys are track athletes that happen to be football players...Jacoby Ford is the latter IMO...

Mcdaniels would be great for this team a good ball hawk kind of kid that can hit you too

how did Sam Maxwell look?

Maxwell didn't play he's out with a shoulder....I think he had surgery on it...

DeAndre McDaniel is the guy who impressed me a great deal. CJ Spiller is a world-beater so I expected good play for him. Da'Quan Bowers is a legit top then pick in 2011.

is McDaniel going to declare?

is McDaniel going to declare?

Maybe. If he stays in school another year he will be a 1st round draft pick in 2011. Seems like that is what he wants. However if he feels like he might go in the 1st round this year he will declare.

Keep in mind that McDaniel was playing linebacker last year and only made the move to safety this year....that's why his INT numbers jumped from 1 to 8...

He's a natural for the position IMO....his instincts and play recognition skills are some of the best....I think it's incredible how fundamentally sound he for the safety position already and his keen awareness for always seemingly being in the right place in coverage and taking correct angles...

He wasn't hurt. Just didn't have much of an impact in the game.

Well he was only on the field for 1/2 the plays he could of been so that could of had something to do with his lack of impact.............

But he was also wearing a brace, i just don't know if that's because of his passed ACL or if was still bothering him, or if it's something new...............ether way it would seem to me if he was 100% healthy he would of saw the field alot more.
