I'd like to hear who you think might be the MVP of the Dolphins in 2009. I know at this point it's a guess but let's take our pre-season S.W.A.G.s* and at the end see who (if anybody) is right.

I'd also like to know who do you think is the Most IRREPLACEABLE Player right now for the Dolphins. If this person goes down, your first thought is, "well, there goes the season" or at least a game or two more lost.

My MVP: Ronnie Brown (year 2 from ACL, chose over Ted Ginn who I think may have a breakout year in '09)
My MIP: Chad Pennington (although toyed with picking Jake Grove for a while). Not that I think Henne wouldn't cut it long-term, just think that the transition might be rough until he gets settled. Little room for error this season.

I was kind of hoping MIP was Most Improved Player...I would hope Ginn gets this title. As for your stuff, I think Penny is both.

I could be wrong with Ginn. While I feel he's getting better as a receiver I just don't think his "speed" is going to be a real threat until we get someone who can hit him 50 yards down field in stride.
