Chris Borland was a pretty hot debate around here last year. I haven't followed SF too closely…but I know with some injuries he has started at least the last two games. 18 tackles a week ago and another 17 this week. Wish he was in Miami

that list looks to completely almost coincide with how they have played as pros to date...

Pretty simple really. All I did was look up who was the highest rated on PFF..

Or maybe you're just doubting my foresight.

well then you are the best i have ever seen at evaluations...bar none...

It's not that much different everyone elses. Maybe CB, but that's because I value being able to find the ball and make a play on it. Which is something Gilbert + Dennard struggle with

It should have been obvious to everyone Clowney will be a bust. When people get money they just become more of what they are. He's never worked a day in his life. What did the Texans expect after they paid him all that money?

Well I really wanted Miami to take Kaepernick at #15 in 2011. So I'm not sure how that would have played out.. I just work hard to recognize my misses and don't make the same mistakes. That and I've learned a lot from Jeff Ireland. Do the opposite of him.

I liked him coming out as well, but he has struggled in coverage.

Borland is the best LB in that draft.

Beckham Jr. is better than several of those WRs you listed.

He's a good backup special teams guy who can start for you if you need him too. He's in a really good situation in SF. Him being #3 was more about the lack of depth at LB than him being comparable to Mosley or Shazier. He's a few tiers below that.

I don't think Borland is even close to CJ Mosley or Ryan Shazier. I really hope that you're not serious....

And I had Odell Beckham #7 right after Allen Robinson. He had all his production against schools like UAB. He was invisible vs Florida and Alabama. He's ok.

borland looks better than shazier to me...you cant teach that kids instincts...but he has limitations in coverage...mosleys the best all around

Shazier is being miscast as a 3-4 backer. He's a WILL all the way. Borland is also benefiting from that front 3 in San Fran. They're as physical as anybody and keep his jersey clean. He's not someone I would want to start for me, but he's a great special teamer and backup LB. He's also been said to kick 40 yard field goals in practice all the time at Wisconsin. You definitely want that guy on your team, but ideally in the league we are in, you don't want him starting for you. It would be different if it was 1994 but it's 2014. Coverage is at a premium at the LB spot.

You also can't teach the freakish athleticism Ryan Shazier possesses. I'll take what he lacks in instincts (they're really not bad or anything but not as good as Mosley or Borland's) over Borland physical talent all day. 4.38 40, 42 inch vertical, 10'10' broad jump....

To add to Mosley.. I don't think I can name 10 linebackers better than him. Right now.
