First one was shattered right away with DRC running at the combine. so here is my 2nd one...........this is what i think Miami will do, not what i want.

1. Jake Long OT Michigan - I believe he would be a unbelieveable RT, not sure about LT. but i definitely wouldnt rule him out at LT. question is, do you draft a pay that much to a RT? i dont think so. Parcells and Ireland better be sure hes a LT.

2a. Kenny Philips S Miami - Problem at this pick is there are a ton of great prospects left. What to do, what to do? Well Philips IMO is the best Safety in the draft. But thats not saying much, this safety groups is bad. we have had talks of bringing eugene wilson in, but hes constantly injury prone and may comand money he isnt worth at this point. Pairing Philips and Allen at the Safety position gives us to athetic young safeties. Question is, are they to young and raw. and with Lack of shut down CBs, will they be exposed.

2b. Tracy Porter CB Indiana - Big Play CB with great speed and quickness. has the smarts and great ball skills to be a cover CB in the NFL. question is, is he going to be physical or not? is he going to hit? is he going to press? to much talent to pass at this point.

3. Earl Bennett WR Vanderbilt - Value pick here. Extremely Underrated WR. Would come in and most likely be the #3 WR behind Ginn and Wilford. Extremely productive. Great Hands. Good route running.

4. Kellen Davis TE Michigan St. - With his size and athletic ability hes hard to pass here. Hes raw prospect as well. needs to work on his hands and blocking. hes not a good blocker at all. If he actually puts in work like he wants to be good and improves those 2 things. he could be a steal here. If not, he could be just another Athletic TE that fails in the NFL. But in the 4th Dolphins decide its worth the risk.

5. Traded to Kansas City for QB Trent Green.

6. Depending on who you talk to, we traded this 6th to Dallas for NT Jason Ferguson.

7. Brandon Keith OG/OT Northern Iowa - Likely moved to guard spot. has some concerns but big body that can move. worth the risk at this point.

not going to go through out the UDFAs cuz i dont know who will be drafted or not. only doing dolphin draft.

Roster would look like this.

QB - John Beck/Josh McCown
RB - Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams/Lorenzo Booker
FB - Reagan Mauia
WR - Ernst Wilford/Earl Bennett
WR - Tedd Ginn/ Derrek Hagan/Greg Camarillo
TE - Justin Peele/David Martin/Kellen Davis/Sean Ryan
LT - Jake Long
LG - Biggest question mark right now. re-sign Hadnot? i would.
C - Samson Satele
RG - Justin Smiley
RT - Vernon Carey

LE - Randy Starks
NT - Jason Ferguson
RE - Vonnie Holiday**

LOLB - Calvin Pace*/Joey Porter
ILB - Channing Crowder/Charlie Anderson
ILB - Reggie Torbor/Charlie Anderson
ROLB - Jason Taylor/Joey Porter

CB - Will Allen/Michael Lehan
CB - Andre Goodman/Tracy Porter

FS - Jason Allen/Travis Daniels
SS - Kenny Philips/Renaldo Hill

K - Jay Feely
P - Brandon Fields

*Notes projected signing of OLB Calvin Pace.
**Notes Holliday could be release and replace by potenital signing Marques Anderson.

********Notes im bored as **** at work.

Obviously with my projected roster i still have the LG question. Secondary is still questionable. But not much out there to help it right now. we get a couple potential big players in Phillips and Porter.

Everything we do next season is going to sit on John Becks shoulders imo. we should have a good pass rushing defense and if we can get pace we should have a good run defense as well. will the secondary hold up and will the offense score points?

i like matt ryan or jake long with the #1.
with the 32nd pick i would really want a very good CB
our WR core is ok for now

Shawn Crable is a better pick at 2b than Porter is....

There is not confusion here; Miami has Dallas's 6th round pick..

They just swapped 6th round picks. So Miami technically did not lose another pick this year.

Taken from Skolnick blog...

Some wonder whether Jake Long is even the best tackle in this draft -- or whether he projects as a left tackle. Two weeks ago, I hosted a radio show with former Hurricanes and NFL tackle Leon Searcy, who is convinced that Jake Long will not only be a left tackle in the NFL, but will be a perennial Pro Bowler at the position.

We'll i guess if worse comes to worse then we stick him at RT and put Carey at LT where he played pretty good last year

are you kidding? Miami's WR's are bottom 10 probably 5 in the league. They need 2 more wideouts

I like the mock. Though Id like to see a QB in there.

I can live with Jake Long. I see Phillips falling. Love the porter pick. I dunno if BP will take Kellen Davis, lots of questions regarding his character. Nice mock Nappy.

jake long is the pick right now....that would solidify avery important position for 10 years...i believe that has been our main problem (qb too)

I would HATE Jake Long at Number 1, but Kenny at the top of Round 2 maybe would be enough to make up for it. My Ideal 2 first picks would be Chris Long and Kenny Phillips.

i don't know who earl bennett is, so i'm going to say trevor laws/andre woodson out of ignorance. otherwise, the exact draft i was hoping for (including davis in the 4th)

I'd be happy with that draft, assuming we didn't skip our 6th rd pick.

We don't have a 5th or 6th this year thus far. The trade with Ferguson gave our 6th for him but next year apparently we swap 6th rounders.

Also I would rather have Eddie Royal at 3 but I can live with Bennett.

Bennett is better than Royal

But it was swaps of 6th rounders this year.
