I would take anyone of these, in no particular order...

David Carr
Joey Harrington
Matt Schaub
Drew Brees
Philip Rivers

EDIT: No I do not want Lemon to start

Say NO to Joey Harrington.. Harrigton IS AJ Feeley.. Great physical skills, do not have NFL QB mental makeup.

Id take Carr or Rivers thoguh.. Maybe Schaub.. I think Brees stays in SD.

Yea but Harrington I also believe could need a change. I think he will be a solid QB.

No. I just dont see it... He is flawed.. It is no coincidence that every Tedford QB has been a failure in the NFL.. The Packers screwed themselves by drafting Rodgers.

well in that case, add Rodgers to the list

Joey Harrington is pretty sorry, he just can't seem to make any plays. I wouldn't want him at all.

Well he can make plays, but he can make some bad ones too. I just believe in his abilities. But I would take Carr over anyone.

David Carr - He could be had. I'm sure I read he has stipulations in his contract that could make him a free agent after this year. The Texans could end up with the #1 pick. Unless they get a SWEET trade down deal they can't pass on Leinhart. Capers could be canned so a new regime might want to start over with "their guy" at Q.B.

I'd take Carr in a heartbeat...if the price was right (contraxct wise). The only question I have about him is whether the 3 year *** kicking he's recieved in Houston has has long term effects on him mentally and physically.

Joey Harrington - Harrington was making strides last year in my opinion. This year he has no excuses though. He has playmakers all around him and has regressed badly.

I would'nt want anything to do with him.

Matt Schaub - He has looked great in limited playing time. There are issues though.

#1 - With Mike Vicks obvious inability to stay in one peice WHY would the Falcons trade a back up Q.B. who can start and win for them? We all saw what the Falcons are when Vick gets hurt and they have no backup 2 years ago....they are a 5 - 11 team.

#2 - IF the Falcons are crazy enough to move him they would have to be blown out of the water with an offer. I for one am not prepared to take another gamble with draft picks for a guy who, even though he has shown a lot, is still unproven.

Drew Brees - We have NO SHOT at him. He is the Chargers Q.B. for the next decade. He has already shown this year that last year was not a fluke. He is poised, makes plays and almost never turns the ball over.

I fully expect the Chargers to make him a BIG MONEY contract offer before he sniffs free agency.

Philip Rivers - He is like Schaub, accept he has shown even less. I really like Rivers but, like I said with Schaub, I'm not willing to give up the farm for someone elses backup Q.B.

If we can get him for a 3rd rounder in the '06 draft and a conditional pick in the '07 draft then I'm all for it.

If the guy is lights out then we give up a 1st in '07 (as part of the conditional package)

We have SO MANY other needs (Q.B., Left tackle, defensive tackle, outside linebacker, corner, safety). Giving up a first (and more) as well as a HUGE contract for someone elses backup Q.B. is a Speilman move...

 just thinking a QB will be bad due to his college coach is pretty shallow

David Carr please:D

but you must remember there is no way SD can hold onto rivers when his contract expires. He will want too much and they won't pay him. They'll be looking to trade him believe me.

It is'nt shallow when you consider EVERY Tedford Q.B. has been a bust.
you yourself said you wanted david carr, so i guess you want a bust?

every michigan QB before brady turned out to be a bust, whatever...things change. rodgers is absurdly accurate with a great arm and makes great decisions. i'd trade a 1st for him in a heartbeat

Give men Joey Harrington or Brees. I dont want Rivers i saw him play for 4 years and that throwing motion is discusting.

Everyone thinks hes god in miami for some reason, although he hasnt played a game yet. lol

or charlie whithurst or marcus vick or even vince young:D:D:D:D
