My Confidence is Shaken...

Part of me is a complete optimist and really believes all we need is a win to break out of this whatever we are in. Then I realistically look at what has transpired on the field through four weeks. We are terrible top to bottom. We are getting effort maybe from 5 of the 11 guys on the field at any given time. At least when we were 1-15 we had some tough breaks and played many games rather tough.

Our defense has made 0 critical stops. If the other team has the ball with two minutes left in a half they will score. In each game this year once we eek closer with another field goal the defense lays a freaking egg and allows the opposing team to systematically march right down the field.

I am rattled right now and the only thing that brings me happiness is the fact that I saved 50% on my Sunday Ticket subscription so I won't miss any field goal we kick all year.

I didn't even get a break on my Sunday ticket subscription. I have sincerely watched the Phins for over 28 years and I am utterly disappointed with the lack of any football knowledge and very poor management decisions overall the years especially since Shula left. A variety of snake oil salesman who wanted to make a quick buck have come through from JJ, to Wannstead to Saban and finally Parcells. It is amazing the quality of the leadership decisions. I am in shock. We still hang onto the No. 13 jerseys and are very doubtful whether those days will be back again.

i feel u ..... i start off like 10 mins before kickoff like well we have a chance if this that and the other gets done well. and half way into the 2 quarter in most games im just hoping we dont embarrass ourselfs any more with terrible D play and not being able to score in the redzone. I mean for gods sake we started one drive this game at the chargers 25 yard line and lost 13 yards on the first 2 plays. How does that happen?!?!?!? i told me friend we should just kick the FG on 1st down and save ourselfs the embarrassment.
