Immediate focus:

1. OT Levi Brown, PSU
2A DT Tank Tyler NCSU
2B WR Anthony Gonzalez, OSU
3. OG Manuel Ramirez Texas Tech
4. FB Leron Mclain Alabama
6-7 qb, couple dbs-lb, te

The above is realistic and would be a great draft where we literally could end up with 5 future starters potentially.

Swinging for the fences:

1. QB Brady Quinn ND
2A trade up for Quinn
2B. WR Anthony Gonzalez, OSU
3. Manuel Ramirez Texas Tech
4. FB Leron McClain, Bama
6-7 dbs, lb, te

Now if we don't have to trade up for Quinn, then option A with Quinn instead of Brown, and then next year we go after our LT from Jake Long, Jared Gaither and the kid from Boise State.

looks good but i would like to pick up marcus Mcauley in the 2nd instead of gonzales and Aundrae Allison in the third just my IMO. But i would like the first option to

I agree, throw a DB in there somewhere and it would look much better.

Brown's not worth taking at 9...I'd only take him if we move down to around 15 or...that way we'd get another pick in the 2nd or 3rd...at 9 we'd have far better options....I'd take Ginn is Quinn is gone and you can make a case for Landry tho I don't want another safety in the 1st....there's gonna be at least 1 or 2 DT's worth taking ahead of Brown at 9 too.

I like that swinging for the fences mock. For 6-7, if we can add Hickman from UCLA there, that'd be great.

We have more prssing needs than receiver in the first.

We need a big time playmaker and Ginn is a big time playmaker...the last time we had a guy like that was when we had the Clayton-Duper combo....this guy can score anytime from anywhere...is not abnout WR being a big need or not...is about the need for a playmaker that right now we don't have.Cam already said that you have to score to win...Ginn can do that....NO got a playmaker last year(Bush)and look at what happen...not saying Ginn is as good, but he's that kind of playmaker.

1st round LT Levi Brown...trade down from #9 and pick up another 4th rounder
2nd round C Ryan Kalli OR LT Joey Staley
2nd round db Marcus McCauley
3rd round G Manny Ramirez
4th round s Sabby Piscitelli
4th ronnd Johnnie Lee Higgins pr/kr/wr
6th round Justin Medlock K
7TH round Aaron Fairooz wr

how about:

Round 1 (4)- Calvin Johnson/Joe Thomas (assuming the draft goes Russell, Quinn and Peterson)
Round 2 (40) - Ryan Kalil
Round 2 (60) - we had to move up
Round 3 - Manuel Ramirez
Round 4 - we had to move up

A first day of Joe Thomas, Kalil and Ramirez . . . damn I couldn't get mad.
