So this is what I have so far (round player is projected to go) obviously it'll change constantly between now and the draft:

RD1 PK 12: Rolando McClain (1) (ILB) Alabama

RD2 PK 43: Brian Price (1/2) (DT) UCLA- He's expected to go late first to early second but some mocks have teams taking him as high as #21 and as low as #40 so he might not be there."The Pac-10's defensive player of the year was a disruptive force on UCLA opponents' running and passing games, making 23 1/2 tackles for loss and seven sacks"

RD3 PK 73: Kyle Wilson (2/3) (CB) Boise St- "He's 5-10, 190lbs and he ran a 4.42." Apparently the 9th best corner in the draft "sometimes takes too many risks but is a good tackler"

RD4 PK 107: Kyle Calloway (3/4) (OT) Iowa- "Is projected to go late third early 4th round is a steal if he falls to the 4th rd. Above average pass blocking and average run blocking skills"

RD5 No Pick

RD6 PK?: Myron Rolle (6/7) (SS) Florida St.-"Runs a 4.6, a bit slow for a safety which decreased his stock from lower 4th rd to maybe a 6th or 7th rd pick could make an excellent special teamer. He has the smarts to learn the position."

Miami also has another 6th rd pick and two 7th rd picks, I couldn't even imagine thinking who Miami will draft that late in the draft if at all.The quotes are from Mike Mayock.

Sorry but that's an aweful draft from our standpoint. Outside of R.McClain there's not a single guy I'd want or that we would need. Price would be nice but he is a first round pick, he's the 3rd or 4th best DT. Why would we want a CB so early? Why would we want a OT before OLB, FS or WR help? Why on earth do you think we need a 4th SS on this team when we only have 1 FS and he's a rookie?

I just don't get the direction of the draft, McClain would be great but what about FS, WR, TE, OLB to name a few positions we need to improve.

Isn't Price expected to play DT in a 4-3 system? Also, Kyle Wilson looks really good. I don't know that we draft him - just because there are greater areas of need. But, I don't think he lasts to the 3rd.

Well after the 3rd round most of MIA's need positions drop in talent significantly....almost all the good WRs will be gone then. Myron Rolle is not a pick to start like Mayock said he can be used on special teams...I'd keep a 6th round pick around for special teams instead of a top 20 pick like Jason Allen for the same thing. I see what you're saying but I doubt MIA is going to fill all their needs in one draft with quality players at each position. If they do acquire all their needs, everyone drafted after the 4th rd will be development prospects....do we need more Patrick Turners, JD Folsoms, and John Nalbones?

I think he is expected to play in a 4-3. I know their are other needs but i doubt anyone good will be there for our needs if there is it's probably someone Miami can draft later.

if Price works out like people think he will, he'll sky rocket up boards. I've seen some highly respected draft sites have Price go as high as 8. He'd be a steal in the 2nd, but with his talent and production he won't make it.

From what it sounds like down in Mobile, Kyle Wilson won't make it to Round 3.

I'll give you Calloway as a value pick, but I'd rather see us go for somebody who would contribute. Garner can play OT and OG, Berger OG and C, and the staff loves Gardner and Murtha. I doubt we'd take OK this early.

Rolle could actually go higher than you have him cause he's working out really well. Only reason he'll get drafted this low is because he's got another year at Oxford ahead of him.

I was thinking of putting WRs Mike Williams (Syracuse) and Jacoby Ford (Clemson) in the 4th rd instead of Calloway.

that boise state cornerback is gonna shoot up the draft IMO ... he'll be gone before the start of the 3rd round

If he continues playing like he did yesterday at practice, i see him as a low first rounder early 2nd ...

probably should pick different WRs. Ford has looked great as a return man, but has struggled as a WR the first 2 days down in Mobile. Williams IMO is off our board because he quit on his team.

Yeah Price is a 4-3 DT or a 3-4 DE, to be honest I think we are pretty good at DE for now.

Oh that's good to know then.

I like Earl Thomas at 12 and Spikes/Graham/Spoon in the second.

I'm really liking the idea of getting Thomas in the first, I think he makes the biggest impact on our team more so then any other player we could pick there.

Best available OLB in the 2nd, I don't think Spikes falls that far and M.Johnson in the 3rd. Three positions that could really help us instantly improving our team immensely.
