My dad just passed and I am going to the game

My dad passed away on christmas eve (53) and I have a large weight on my shoulders. I was supposed togoto my bosses (big fin fan) place with my two co workers to watch the game. He called me today when I was taking care of my fathers business and said hey the parties cancelled. I said why? He said I thought youd want to goto the fins game instead, I got 4 tickets.
 
My deepest condolences go out to you and your family. May strength and peace be with you in this most difficult time.
 
Very nice gesture by your boss... Very sorry for your loss... I lost my brother on Christmas Eve years ago.

I hope the boys can pull out the win and give you a little happiness in what must be a very tough time.

I think that the passing of a relative that is close to you will always affect to you no matter how old you grow. The best you can do is stay strong and tell to yourself that you are going to be a strong person. My heart goes out to you and your family at this moment of grief.
