My Dad, the #1 Fin Fan going in for a Triple Bypass

I remember when I was four and my dad bought me a Miami Dolphins t-shirt and toy helmet. Ever since then, we've both been die hard Dolphins fans. We've both suffered through frustrating losses and thrilling victories. Now, real life rears it's ugly head. On Friday, my dad was complaining of chest pains and was admitted to the hospital. After extensive testing, it was found that one of his arteries was 90% blocked and the other was 95% blocked. They scheduled him for a triple bypass Monday morning at 7 a.m. He asked me about the game tonight and told him we're still at the bottom of the learning curve (no sense making things any tougher for him! :) ).

What I would like to do if it's cool with the moderators is for all the Finheaven members to write a message in this thread wishing him well. I'll bring my laptop to his hospital room tomorrow and I think it would really make his world.

Best wishies to your dad and family.....i lost my "pops" last march and i dont know how im gunna watch fin games without him...you dad will fly through bypass surgery and be back in his couch watchin the best team on the planet...the MIAMI DOLPHINS

I'm really sorry to hear that, man. But you won't be alone. He'll be watching the Dolphins games on a huge plasma screen TV up in heaven!
