Last night I had a very vivid dream that I was watching today's game. In my dream, we got a big lead but the Patriots started to come back. We held them off for a 28-24 victory. I was ecstatic with beating the Patriots on their own turf to earn our 9th victory of the season.

Most people might see this as a good omen, right? Not for me. Going back to 1992, every time I've had a dream that the Dolphins win a game, they end up losing the real game. And when I dream that the Dolphins lose a game, they win the real thing. Sort of a dyslexic Nostradamus thing going on here...lol.

Dammit, why couldn't I have dreamt they lost last night??!!

Oh well, I want this dream streak of mine to end...TODAY...RIGHT HERE!!!!!!

GO PHINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you dream feature Tom Brady and Corey Dillon?
Because if it did, it's flawed. :dolphins:

That's ok. I not only dreamed Miami lost last night, but that I forgot to watch the game.

And I have the same history you do.

I remember dreaming Miami won the AFC Championship game for the 1992 season the day before :(

No. My dreams are weird. I can't remember any players or plays, just that the Patriots staged a furious comeback but we held them off.

My grandfather (huge fins fan) and I used to watch the game on different tvs if they got in particular bad spells on one. I don't know if he was doing that to humor me or if he was just as superstitious as I was.

That's it no more sleeping for you. This is like Nightmare on Elm Street. Hopefully Brady won't turn into a Fredy

Absolutely! I feel like this is a playoff game or something.

That's the only way to be.

A moment that made me remember why I truly love football was the week 17 season finale between the Jets and the Dolphins in 2003. Nothing was at stake at all...the Jets were horrible and Miami had missed the playoff boat, and my friend and I were watching it in the bar.

There were just as many Jet fans as Miami fans and the way it sounded in that room, you would have thought it was a first round playoff game. Miami played that way too...

I dreamt that I didn't drink myself into a stupor and that I wouldn't be feleing pain over the course of the next five hours...

Sort of like that old commercial where the Dolphins are playing the Jets and the bar is full of Jets fans and you hear the announcer say "TOUCHDOWN MIAMI!!!" and this little guy wearing a Zach Thomas jersey jumps up and yells, "WOOOO HOOOOO!!!! YEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!" and all the pissed off Jets fans turn around and glare at him...lol.

Speaking of that commercial, was that announcement from a real game? Every time I listen to it I don't recall if it could have possibly came from a real game as that was in the midst of an 8 game losing streak , unless it came from the first half of that Monday Night Meltdown.

You know, I'm not sure. If I remember correctly, it's Gumble doing the play by play and he says, "Fiedler...back to pass...under pressure...TOUCHDOWN!!!". It may have been pieced together. I always laughed at that commercial because being up here in Bills country, it's how it is for me when I go out to watch a game.
