Seasoned Veteran
Offence
QB Feely- Quick release, solid arm, but too many passes went the other way last season. He's more of a gamer than a workout warrior which might hurt him in camp.
Rb Ronnie- I don't think the contract is as big a deal as everyone thinks. They'll have a deal done within a week of camp. An all around Feature back we have been lacking since Ricky went AWOL.
Fb Evans- A local star in High School that hasn't had great oppertunity in the pro's ( Because of Mack strong), But a great guy with good skills. The only question is how often will he be used in Linehan's offence.
Wr Chambers- A star, Will have a blast in Linehan's offence. On the cusp of something great.
Wr Booker- A proven vet that will improve on his dissapointing numbers in 04.
TE McMichael-McMichael turned in another steller season. He broke Keith Jackson's club records for a tight endby catching a team leading 73 passes for 791 yards.
Lt Carey- To good to be on the bench. I think he's a star who will do great this year just had such high expectations.
Lg James- He's a mauler from the word go, but he better be surrounded by consistant players.
C McKinney- A complete enigma. He's smart and athletic, yet no results.
Rg Hadnot- I like him. Plays well because of his confidence. Is a competitor.
Rt Mcdougle- Former first round Pick with loads of potential. Is better than last years best lineman St. Clair. Which is saying alot. Is playing for a Payday.
K Mare-Mare still has a leg-he made kicks of 50 and 51 yards last season-now we must give him the chances. Needs to take a paycut.
Defense 4-3
RE-Taylor- A monster, A top three end in the league. As dynamic a player as there is in the NFL.
DT- Chester- He's a giant block of stone with a mean streak. Coming back from knee surgery.
DT- Kevin Carter- An accomplished pass rusher who can play at either 4-3 or 3-4. Will be a monster in the middle.
DE- Holliday- Hoping to rejuvinate his career and become the pass rushing end he once was at Green Bay before all his injuries.
MLB-Thomas- It's going to be interesting to see how he fits into Saban's offence. Is as good a linebacker there is in the NFL. Undersized but produces every year.
OLB- Seau- Savvy vet who's going to the hall of fame.
OLB- Crowder- Knee injuries dropped his stock, but when healthy he's vicious. The steal of the draft.
CB-Madison- Played very sound last year. Played well but flew under the radar because of surtain. Was frustrated because he didn't get any interceptions.
CB- Howard- Played poorly in his first season as a fin after getting a big payday. We aren't paying him to sit on the bench. Has a ton of talent but has to learn how to use it. IT maybe DANIELS?
FS- TBD- Would've been Tillman but he's injured. I think Schulters will be here as soon as we can sign him.
SS- Jones- Hoping that a move back to strong safety will reduce coverage errors. Has a TON of talent and is a Major upgrade over SLow SAMMY.
PUNTER- Turk- The leg is on the decline, but still get's rid of it quick. Good holder, too.
KR/PR- WELKER- should have made the PRO BOWL. A FAN fav and future star.
I would appreciate some feed back thanx guys. CHRIS :D
