ima go out and call it straight up guys. Ima hear about 80% bitchign and complaints due to that usual it isnt madden or its impossible talk. I dont care, im just oging ot have it so incase it happens like last year where i was close to being correct it'll prove all those ppl that think its impossible wrong once again.

I think this is our ROSTER next year.

Not resigned:

K. Adams LB
Denney LS
Zgonina DT
RW comes back then Morris/Minor both gone wiht a PS on the 3rd spot. Minor maybe for ST.
Spragan (unless vets min.)
if we draft S then Tillman
welker and newman I have NO CluE on honestly. (dont get MOD EDIT bout WW guys, it can happen sad to say)

Resigned:
Barnes FB
Bell S
Bowens DE (unless we draft 1)
Berger OG
Eckel FB
Fonoti OG
HOlliday DT
Traylor DT
Jackson DB for ST/5th back
Jacox (min vet)
D Jones P
Lehan DB Him or Jackson get the boot
Lemon
Vickerson

Cut

Carter might get cut I say
Joey
Anderson RG
James LG
Booker WR

Restructure

Mare
ZT and JT (wahts new)
n prob an attempt with Chambers

FA

Steinback LG
Stallworth WR (shouldnt ask much due to injury reassons and relationship with Mueller if not, forget about him which then changes our plans with welker and booker)
DB (Samuels or Clements) b/c no one relaly in round 1 except for S's worth 9th pick
n some patch up players/stop gaps
maybe dielman to go wiht the lesser money route and add another player with money saved.

Draft

DE/OLB round 1 or LT unless a QB falls to us.
DE/OLB, LT round 2 with maybe a S depending on merriweathers status.

the rst i wont do becuase its basically impossible to rpedict and it fustrates me more b/c there is no info right now lolll

well, half way thru i started to give up b/c its almost impossible to predict so i got lazy, go ahead and fire away guys!

"it aint madden it aint madde" i hear the chants coming lmaoo

Cool. Just one question why would we cut joey w/o a replacement of equal or better skill?

wow this is almost exactly what i thought of and i get no response/sarcastic responses

I don't know if we will have the money to sign all those guys in Free Agency is my only issue. Stallworth may ask for a good chunk of money because he showed flashed of being great last year, as will Samuel or Clements.

My free agency would look like this:

Steinback
Adailus Thomas
(Role Players)

I'd try and trade down from #9 overall to the #12 to #15 range also, pick up a 3rd and 5th rounder in that trade. I'd also try and shop booker to the highest bidder for a draft pick (Not going to be a popular response, but sometimes you have to give something good to end up with something better) and resign Welker

Then my draft would be what it says in my sig, but with the extra third rounder I'd take Merriweather if he fell that far (which he may)

I'd ask Shelton to restructure to a contract that suits a RG instead of LT like he is being paid.

So my team would look like this: (note that not all the offense would be on the field at the same time, Im just listing key players)

QB: Culpepper
RB: Ronnie Brown
FB: (Whoever wins the job)
WR: Chambers
WR: David Ball
WR: Hagan
TE: Mcmichael
LT: Levi Brown
LG: Steinback
C: Kalil
RG: Shelton
RT: Carey

DE: Holliday
DE: Roth
DT: Wilkinson

OLB: A. Thomas
MLB: Crowder
MLB: Zach
OLB: Taylor

CB: Will Allen
CB: Travis Daniels
FS: Jason Allen
SS: Merriweather (The kid can hit trust me)

In the 4-3 Taylor would switch to DE, Holliday would come out, and Fred Evans (I love the kid he will be a stud someday) would be a 4-3 DT.

Now I doubt everything goes like that, I'd just like it to.

Okay now everyone ask me who David Ball is  I see it coming.

I like it Alex, but what about Yerimiah Bell? He played pretty well in the second half of the season and I would like to see him and Renaldo Hill back there again.

holliday wont be the DE in 3 -4. either bowens or R Wright i think. as for wilkinson, no thanks. 2.1 agaisnt the cap cut him he dinest even show signs of being NEAR traylor during the yr. i think evans and M Wright would be awesome.

i rather get a OLB in drafth n spend money on a clements /samuels to take pressure off allen. thomas woudl want big money and he is 30. look at wimbley, he had 11 sacks i believe his rookie yr and will be great just on a bad team. u can find a SOLB easily this year especailly with spencer, woodley, adams, moses etc but not a top notice DB at 25 yrs old or 27 of clements

I like Bell but I don't love him like most people here. He was a much better player than Tillman but he did make his share of mistakes, and he isn't very good in run support (Why Tillman got the job in the first place)

I just think Merriweather will be an absolute steal, I think if you have the chance to upgrade a position you do it. It's not like Bell is a pro bowl caliber player at this time so I say if we can improve we should jump on it.

I can just see Jason Allen and Brandon Merriweather being one of the best safety combos in football for a long time. Bell could even start next year and just give Merriweather playing time here and there, but I'm looking toward the future with that pick. Third rounder with a lot of talent.

No way that Wes Welker is not a part of next year's team.

Evans isnt a 3-4 DT and I'm not counting on Manny Wright to do anything for us.

So if your letting Traylor walk you have to keep Wilkinson unless you plan on running a pure 4-3 which Capers wont do. Holliday can/does play 3-4 DE. In a perfect world he is a 4-3 DE but this isnt a perfect world and I still think he is a better DE than Bowens.

Thomas would get a nice big contract. Samuels would completely kill us in terms of the cap as would Clements.

In a 3-4 you dont need great corners because it's a defense based on creating pressure and bad throws. The reason you see our secondary get exposed in the 3-4 is because we only have one guy that really is good at coming on the blitz from OLB and thats JT, but teams pretty much know he is coming. Honestly what we did in the 3-4 pressure wise is amazing considering we dont have the linebackers to be playing a 3-4. In fact I'd even say that safetys are way more important than corners in a 3-4 defense.

In short terms. Put in an OLB that can actually blitz and that would be far better for a 3-4 defense than a shutdown corner.

ya but 3-4 puts pressure for mistakes and sacks right? so mistakes me INT"s. i dont see INTS on our roster. how many teams have a 3-4 team with exccellent INT results compared to our 6

it aint madden lol, nah but seriously i think that ricky williams will most deffinantly be playing with us next season as will wes and john denney who has done an excellent job long snapping for us, the only way i see him being let go is to free up a roster spot and should that happen then expect to see jeff zgonina stick around, as currently he is the only other long snappe ron the roster but i do expect one of the two to be let go in the offseason. i agree with the rest being not re-signed.

for the people being re-signed i highly doubt that darian barnes will be re-signed, he is hopeless, especially if we have ricky back as well as kyle eckel who i think will be an absolute beast of a full-back for us(think mike alstott, running and blocking). most of the rest i agree with.

as for those being cut, unless we draft a reciever with one of our first 2 picks no way will booker be cut, he was our best reciever performance wise last season along with welker. the other three i agree with as carter abd bennie anderson are getting paid to well for there roles in the team, though carter may re-structure it may not matter wether he is willing to or not with a young beast (matt roth) snapping at his heels for the starting spot. as for joey well we will see about that one and i really dont want to get into it.

re-structures like u said JT and Zach nothing new there, mare for sure i think will re-structure to stay on the team otherwise he will be cut, i really dont want that to happen. if chambers doesnt then i think it will cost him his spot on the team he has the 3rd highest salary on the team behind JT and Zach and the way he performs he is most deffinantly not worth it. i hope that chamber is either cut or released this offseason unless ofcourse he is willing to re-structure his contract.

FA and draft in short, i do want either posluzsny or a QB in the draft (preferably quinn should he drop that far) i think the tackle spot like you have stated can be better taken care of in FA i.e dielman\steinbach as can the DB.

Berger isn't on our team anymore. I think it was Dallas who snatched him. It was a real bonehead move by that umentionable person. The FA acquisitions aren't realistic. We will be very fortunate to acquire 1 top FA. Pretty vague draft proposals and no suggested trades. Sorry I don't like it. I want to see one of these that has us obtaining an additional first or second round draft pick or both. Who can we trade? Where can we gain the most cap space by cutting players? Who can't be traded because of the cap hit?

i think the thought of any trade by us for aditional first or second round picks and especially both is extremely unrealistic, no one really on our team would command a first round pick in a trade eventaylor due to his age and he has already speculated about retiring and going to film before deciding to play on next season. chambers is to inconsistent but possibly, and it is highly unlikely, would some desperate team spend a second round on him but i doubt that will happen.

The only real problem I have with this is there is no roster spot for Rex Hadnot... I thought he was one of our best and most consistent linemen last year. Merriweather is awesome but I wouldn't mind keeping Y. Bell as starter.
