1st round 9th overall - (BPA) -Alan Branch DT- Michigan
2nd round 39th overall - Brandon Siler LB Florida
3rd round - Drew Stanton QB - Michigan State
4th round - Courtney Taylor WR- Auburn

I like the 2nd third and 4th round picks but honestly hope we get much better value for our 9th overall pick than Alan Branch i think he has the weight but has some serious power issues to be playing the 3-4.

:dolphins:

Branch and Siler would make our future defense nasty. But I hope we improve on offense.

NO NO NO!!!

Number 4 ranked Defense. This is the rank of our defense if we don't add anyone to it and just bring it back in tact. Number 29 ranked Offense. Do you still think we should spend our first two picks on Defense? We can address the linebacker position in Free agency and in later rounds for sure. Our defensive line is currently the strength of our team. How about Offensive line? Or Wide Receiver? Or Quarterback? All of these should be higher priority than the deepest unit on our team. Or if you are going to go defense with your first pick, how about a cornerback? The secondary is the weakest unit on that side of the ball... Sheesh...

and we hve 3 DTs that are FAs, and the rest are 7th round picks, deny it all you want, but we need some DTs.

I'd go Staley or Josh Beekman in the 2nd, but not a bad draft.

We need WR, OL, DB, QB, K, RB, OLB.

Whoever is the best on their value board to fill those needs are who I want. I'm silently wishing for:

QB Trent Edwards
RB Lorenzo Booker
WR Dwayne Jarrett
S/LB Aaron Rouse (convert this guy to OLB!)

But as long as they get the best player available in the draft, I'll be happy.

i wouldnt be too happy if we picked up booker... hes just going to be the next travis minor. 3 carries a season, and a special teams player. but YES to Jarrett i love that guy

I would love that draft. I too think we should go OT in the second but would not be dissappointed in the slightest way if we got Siler. My two favorites for OT in the second would be Doug Free and Joe Staley.

I agree, we need to go Alan Branch in the 1st. However we will need a OLB in the 2nd.

Earl Everett would be my pick. Siler is nice, but we need someone with some Speed. Earl Everett runs the 40 in 4.5. He's 6'3" 235. Nother reason why Everett is the way to go in the 2nd is because Channing Crowder will take over in the middle for Zach.

We should help out our DB's in FA like Nate Clements or Asante Samuel. Also we should look for Lance Briggs or Adalius Thomas too.

We could go OT in the 2nd but I like Ryan Harris in the 3rd. He is someone that we can input later when he is ready. D-Mac is doing okay right now. Ryan Harris will take a year to learn under Houck unless D-Mac goes down.

dude! WE'RE NOT A 3-4 TEAM. IT IS NOT OUR BASE DEFENSE. EVEN IF IT WAS, BRANCH IS THE PERFECT 3-4 DE. YOU DO REALIZE THAT WE DON"T HAVE THE PERSONALITY AT ALL TO RUN A STRAIGHT 3-4 RIGHT?

When did we become a 3-4 team?

We are a 4-3 team that plays a hybrid 3-4 at times because we have a smart/athletic/dynamic/once every 20 years type of player in Jason Taylor.

Everything you said about Branch is wrong/false.
