My first ever mock draft.

This is my first mock draft so bare with me. I'm assuming (and hoping) all of these guys are draft eligible, as well as hoping the front office addresses the wide receiver problem in free agency.

Anyway, here it is. Let me know what you guys think.

1: Terrence Cody - NT
2: George Selvie - 3-4 OLB
3: Ed Dickson - TE
4: Robert Johnson - FS
5: Alex Wujciak - ILB
6: Sergio Render - OG

Doubt we get Cody....why use a 1st on a 2 down player? I would much rather get a LB or Gresham if he is still there.

Because he has the potential to the best in the league at those two downs. We all know how this coaching staff loves to rotate players anyway. We could have one of the best run stuffers in Cody play the first two downs, then the faster and more athletic Soliai play on passing downs. I think it'd work out great.

I've changed my mind! ...sort of.

If we lose this week against the Steelers, we'll probably be picking somewhere around 11. If that happens, I really hope we can snag McClain from Alabama. If we win and pick somewhere in the low twenties, then my initial pick of Cody still stands.

1 win or loss doesn't equate to a 10 spot difference in the draft position.

McClain, Bryant, Thomas, Spikes, Hughes have a better chance to be picked then Cody. Cody would have to fall to the 2nd for us to select him (I believe), we have a talent in Solai and they would be more likely to pick another NT late and develope him. Plus I really would rather get a veteran NT to fill in for Fergy's spot.

I don't think he will be able to control his weight once he gets into the NFL. He will have the same problems Soliai had but don't know if Cody has enough self control that I would want to put 1st round money into him. Would much rather have a later round NT prospect which the Tuna is great at finding.

Not a big fan of Cody in the first but i like the rest change cody for a WR in the first or a WR in the second we really need a #1 WR and if we dont get him in FA we need to get him through the draft
