My first mock draft using TDN

My 4 round mock with one trade down that nets Denvers next three 1sts and next two 2nds. I love Slater, think he could be an all pro Center:

This is the the trade:

That's the kind of draft haul we should insist on, or tell anyone to stroll along. I wouldn't be willing to just take an extra 3rd to move out of the key draft slot we own, like a lot of mockers have us doing. Like Smith and williamas, rest of the draft though is not what I would look to be doing.

The A- grade on the first trade is because, compared to similar trades in the recent past, the broncos should have given up more picks.

The more I think about it the more I am convinced that we learned our lesson last year re. RB.

We had our list, but got swiped at the last moment. For this reason I'd be willing to bet that Greir takes no chances at missing out on either Etienne or Harris this year. Rather than get "cute" and wait for the exact slot, I bet that Greir pulls the trigger on RB at either 18 or 35.

It may raise some eyebrows, but hey....WTF. Lock 'em up and take 'em home.

So I tried another draft where I just accept every trade offer (as long as the value is there, not taking a4th rounder for a 3rd, where there were multiple offers I took the best IMO), after round 2 or so when the prospects became a little obscure to me I just drafted the BPA on the PFN board. Ok so it resulted in about 4 safties and 5 OTs but look at the haul :)

Great haul mate but the most boring draft day for your fans who’ll be crying for draft day 2022 for a whole year ;-)

Might be my favorite.

Was able to pick up some good players and an extra #1 and #2 in 2022

So I did this trade:

And followed up with this draft:

Two big play defenders, two WRs, two RBs and two athletic edge projects. In the first four rounds.

Not a bad haul for 2 rounds.

And added to the picks we would get -

4 extra 1st rounders in 2022
2 Extra 1st rounders in 2023

= 5 TOTAL 1st round picks in 2022 &
3 TOTAL 1st round picks in 2023

lol
