Round 1-
Hakeem Nicks- Its been said by the FO that we need firepower on offense. Fins get a yac guy here and a perfect guy to develop for Henne's eventual replacement at QB in a year or two.

Round 2- Darius Butler- We desperately need a starting CB opposite Will Allen. Not to mention, W. Allen is a FA after this year. Butler is said to have the quickest feet out of all the corners this year. I'd jump on Vontae Davis if he were still available in Round 1.

Round 2 (second pick)- Ron Brace- After Boston College's pro day. Many scouts were saying how Brace is more of a one-dimensional run stuffer as compared to Raji who was a stud. Because of this, Brace has been notched as a late 2nd, early 3rd round pick. Not too many true NTs for a 3-4 and its important we find Jason Ferguson's eventual replacement.

Round 3-Herman Johnson- With his recent pro day showing his dedication to football by losing 30 pounds, Johnson secured himself as a day one pick. Miami has made it known that they want to beef up in the interior of their line and be a power run team. With Smiley being so injury prone, Johnson is a great pick here to add depth and even compete with Donald Thomas for the guard spot. With Johnson's long arms, he even adds depth at RT.

Round 4-Lawrence Sidbury- Ireland and Sparano love to look for small-school talent and they find their guy early on day 2. Sidbury would likely be a project guy as he would have to transition from a 4-3 DE to a 3-4 OLB. He showed great speed at the Combine and if he can learn to play in coverage, he could be a nice diamond in the rough type guy.

Round 5- Jason Phillips- TCU linebacker. The FO just resigned Crowder and has only good things to say about Ayodele so they seem pleased with their inside 'backers. Phillips comes in as a SP teamer and eventual potential starter.

Round 6- Terrance Taylor- Depth at NT position. Big, strong DT from Michigan.

Round 7 ABC- Depth at Oline and secondary.

Solid draft, i dont think any of your round 2 guys will be there, however.

Good mock. The one pick I might pass on is Ron Brace with 2B- I'll be curious to see who's available in that slot come draft time. I've by no means given up on Soilia, and I have to watch some more film of Brace. I saw him play when I was looking at Raji months ago, when Brace was a no name. He looked good- big and thick, but not active and quick like Raji- by the way, I wasn't all that impressed with Raji when I saw him- I missed that one for sure, but he does seem to be inconsistent. Brace would be fine, but not at the expense of maybe a Duke Robinson falling to 2b- or maybe a good LB, who knows. Like I said, I have to see more film of Brace, maybe I'm off on this one. The way I feel now, I'd rather have Terrance Taylor in the 5th or 6th rds and use 2B elsewere.

Great draft if it turned out that way...BUT I think you are late on picks 2,2,3,4,5,and 6. All these guys will go early than where you are picking them.
