The notion of sitting Rosen is pretty nonsensical (for a plethora of reasons) unless the fins plan on trotting out better olinemen and offensive weapons for him than they do with Fitz. All things being equal, see what you have in your investment before these potentially great QB drafts roll around.

He'll play week 1 unless something has gone wrong.

so people are saying he needs to sit behind Fitz for a few games to get ready. Well, that's what training camp scrimmages and pre-season is for. Game 3 of pre-season is where the starters play half the gamee, and game 4 is all backups.

And pleeeease don't forget that these are professional, millionaire adults. Rosen has been a QB since he was a kid, plus college, and now in the NFL for a year. Amazing how its okay for millionaires to take their time, yet an average joe at their average workplace has to perform top notch immediately or get fired. Its all good, "not thinking" is very much an American quality.

Have Rosen back up Fitz in the first 2 pre-season games, then put Rosen in on Game 3 to start, then start Game 4 too.

UNLESS Miami is aiming for Trevor Lawrence in 2021, we need to know what we have in Rosen. If he looks legit in 2019, we can hold off on QB for another year and then trade away everything to get Lawrence in 2021 if he doesn't get better. If he looks bad in 2019, then we gotta get Tua, Love or Fromm in 2020.

Manning looked poor his first year, and Rodgers did nothing until his 5th year. So who knows...

That's heavy irony given our recent past

The only reason Rodgers didn't do anything until his 5th year was because he was the backup to Brett Favre. It's hard to something if you're not starting.

In an unscientific poll around the sports TV network where I work, the overall consensus regarding starting Fitz over Rosen was:

WTF!! What the hell are you waiting for? You're kidding right? This is why your team always sucks.

Again, totally unscientific.
