Haven't made a mock in a while and obviously some things have changed.

#25
I believe we select Darius Butler with this pick. I think he has the most upside of any corner in the draft and I would be stoked if he fell into our lap at the 25th spot.

#44
For this pick I think it is a no brainer for an outside linebacker. Clint Sintim would be my pick at this spot. I have heard nothing negative from this guy at all and I think he is a guy that can come in and make an immediate impact.

# 56
Considering our need for a wide receiver, there is no doubt that we will select a receiver with any of our first day picks. Brian Robiskie has the size, strength, hands, and speed to one day be opposite from Ted Ginn, either as a number 1 or number 2 guy.

#87
All along I have been saying its not crowder that needs replaced, and I think with an infusion of talent at the ILB spot crowder would play better. Darry Beckwith can come in and challenge Akin Ayodele for the starting ILB spot next to Crowder. There's nothing wrong with a little healthy competition in Training Camp.

I don't think you can ever have too many talented outside linebackers, and Jason Williams out of Western Illinois is stacking up to be a later-round steal. Although a bit short, he flies around with quick feet and great instincts.

#161
Some of these small school guys are really intriguing. I think Chris Baker out of hampton is one of those guys that can come in and do good things. He has a good weight for a nose tackle and an average height, and he has a tremendous upside for a later round pick.

#181
Domonique Johnson definitely has the size and speed to be a professional corner. These later round guys aren't locks to make the team and he would definitely have to battle it out in training camp to earn a roster spot but he could be the 4th corner on this team.

#214
This is a pick for offensive line depth, and tackle Jose Valdez can provide that depth. He has the same body type of Jake Long and he could be a good backup.

#237
We have a glaring need for center depth and Edwin Williams can definitely add depth. He is big bodied and can fill the hole behind Grove for the time being.

i see you like jason williams. his position hasn't been defined yet, he has the speed, tackling, jumping, and coverage ability to be a SS or stay at MLB. if he's a MLB, I think his height will be fine but he is not an OLB. All i know is, he is a player

I think he could be a pass cover guy at OLB. Or one of those guys that just runs all over the place making tackles from behind or disrupting outside plays.

more versatility means more the reason to draft him, however i think either the jaguars, ravens, or titans will select him b4 us. :(

You never know man, we'll see what happens. So many different scenarios can play out any which way. It will definitely be one of the more interesting drafts because as a dolphins fan we really have no idea who the FO is going to pick and it will keep us at the edge of our seats.

I don't think any pick on here is a real big reach. We could be surprised who falls into our lap

I really like this mock. I would prefer to flip Butler and Sintim, but I agree with the players. I think Butler will fall to our first second, but Sintim won't. And if Butler doesn't, he's not necessarily better than some of the other CB choices like Alphonso Smith/ Sean Smith, etc.

I think you're wrong here. I think Butler has the edge on Alphonso Smith/Sean Smith. I actually think his skills blow them out of the water. Sintim's stock has been falling and he's been staying out of media stories and out of the main draft buzz. I think If we take Butler in the first Sintim has a good chance of being there in the second. Picking Sintim in the first is a reach in my opinion.

That being said, we may have to settle for a corner other than Butler because there is a good chance he will not be there when we are selecting at 25. If that happens I expect a pick other than corner with our first rounder and maybe settling with a guy like Alphonso or Sean in the second round, which would still be better than what we have now.

Again, I'm not a scout so it is hard to judge talent especially if you don't see the guy play first hand, but Darius would be my number 1 priority if he was available at 25.

I like this mock, there's no way butler falls to us at 44, he has been gaining steam for the past couple of weeks so it will be a good pick at #25.I also like this mock because our first 3 picks cover our most pressing needs and robiskie is the ype of receiver that can probably come in and contribute right away due to his precise route running.

I would be very happy with this. I like Butler, Sintim, and Baker a lot and am warming up to Robiskie quite a bit. Let's hope that things look a lot like this when the weekend is through.
