Of course just speculation, but what I would want at the moment:
1 (9) S Laron Landry
2 (a) T Joe Staley
2 (b) T Tony Ugoh
3 TE Ben Patrick
4 Wr Yamon figurs
6 DT
7 DB or LB
7 DB or LB


I know QB isnt there and thats cause I aint enamored with anyone after Stanton and I think he'll be gone by the 2nd honestly.....the guy will be like Phili Rivers a few yrs ago....not 4 but skyrocketing up draft boards...thoughts????

if this was done our oline which to me would be most important could look like this Staley, Ugoh, Hadnot, Shelton, Carey....with Alabi and Toledo as reserves...Figurs will be our top return man, a guy who eat Devin Hester in track in college
 
I like the Staley pick. Landry is a heck of a player but I just don't see the point in us taking him after drafting Jason Allen last year.

Because he is a PB safety. We are not sure what Jason Allen is. Nick Satan pick. :goof:

If you switch Staley for Kalil, then it looks more reasonable. We need G's as well. Cant see taking two semi LT projects. Ugoh could be moved to G but why not just take Grubbs?

Kalil is someone I think MuellCam would love to have, just whether he can be had at 40 is the question IMO.

yea i think we should move Jason Allen to CB...draft Landry at #9. can u imagine what the Bills, Jets, Patriots will be thinking??? "Omg...Zach, Jason, Channing, Joey, and now Landry...we're dead". that would make our defense SICK. and defense wins championships...so if Quinn isnt there at #9, im all for drafting Landry...he is a guy who can come in and start right away. then in the 2nd round...draft a pair of O-lineman...a Tackle for one...then Grubbs or Khalil...whoever is available. if we cant fix our receiving corps this off-season...then id draft a wide receiver in the 3rd and 4th round. id also eventually like a kicker too...Crosby, Medlock, or Wellock is fine by me.

if we're getting jay feeley then a kicker is pointless.....what do you all think of WR figurs...the guy can fly
 
I don't see us going safety again this year.....I think we go Ginn and then Stanton if he's there...if he's not then I can see us taking a center or a guard in the 2nd....I also think we'll take a DE and/or a DT early on....gotta start getting ready to replace JT at some point plus we need depth at DE with Carter and Bowens gone.

No way we go defense in the 1st round. Too many holes and needs on the offensive side to fill.

1-Brown (LT)
2a-Kalil (C)
2b-Sears (LG)
3-Clowney (WR)

That would solidfy our line for years to come and adds a tall, fast, sure handed receiver to compete with Hagan for the #3 WR spot. I wouldn't be surprised if we selected a QB in the 3rd round instead, possibly Kolb or Palko.

Palko is far from a 3rd round prospect.
 
ehh i dont really like it, we don't need landry. Id rather take Branch or Quinn if they make it, if not levi brown. I dont think we need 2 Tackles in the 2nd round.

I would say mine would loook like
1. Levi Brown(unless Branch or Quinn is here)
2. WR
2. DL
3. Kevin Kolb
4. DB
 
1 - Quinn qb/Landry s/Ginn Jr.wr
2 - Kalil c
2 - Hill wr/McCauley or Wright cb
3 - Beekman g
4 - Milner te
