1. Larry English LB

would also be happy with sintim or a few others here. he's got 3-4 OLB written all over him. would take much needed pressure off porter and allow our 3-4 to function as advertised.

2a. Hakeem Nicks WR

we need that #1 guy. i see a heavy O and D line first day so i think he'll slip just enough. hopefully he would be ready to be that #1 guy when henne takes the reigns.

2b. Jarius Byrd CB

haven't heard much about this guy from anyone. big, physical CB who is perfect for the 3-4 IMO. would compete for a starting job.

3. Jasper Brinkley LB

i don't see him falling to the 4th round. another guy who is perfect for the 3-4 and would compete for a starting job.

4. David Bruton S

we need secondary help badly. another guy who fits the parcells mold to a t and would be solid depth.

5. Roy Miller NT

probably reaching for this guy (out of need) but who knows. he's as strong as it gets for a NT and could be groomed under ferguson, who won't be here much longer. if he could last until the 7th round, i would like domonique johnson (CB out of jackson state) here.

i would imagine a few o linemen and a RB for the three 7th rounders.

LOLB: english, roth
ILB: crowder, ayodele
ILB: brinkley, torbor
ROLB: porter, wake

CB: w allen, j allen, jones
SS: bell, bruton
FS: wilson, culver
CB: byrd, green, thomas

this mock is my first for this year - i usually wait until about now before i start putting them together. it will undoubtedly change but this is what it looks like as of today. what do we think?

Just the Nicks one on yours, but it was more of a general comment of all mocks. I understand sometimes people freak fall, but there is no way of knowing that. This looks like a great draft, but Nicks will never fall

yeah, it's hard to say. english, nicks, and sintim (3 guys i would love to have) could all fall depending on how teams draft - its hard to tell who will be there. i think all 3 of them will be there for our 1st rounder but the question will become who lasts until our second. i put english first b/c i think his position is the biggest priority - but it really could go either way.
 
Nicks wont fall to the 2nd... if the FO really likes him then they should take him at 25.
 
the first 3 picks look good but its the hakeem nicks thing is unlikely here is what i believe is a much more reasonable mock and would fill the same positions

2. Sean Smith CB
3. Brian Robinskie WR

they would fill the same needs but i'm not sold on robiskie at all. smith is okay though.

i see nicks slipping. i think crabtree, maclin, harvin, and heyward bey will all be taken before nicks. coupled with all the o linemen and d ends taken on day one, i see a good possibility of a fall. it's not like he's slipping that far.

Yeah, Nicks won't be there in the 2nd. I do like the English pick. I am happy to see someone else high on Byrd. I like him and have only been impressed with his combine an so on. I think he would be a very nice addition. I like the Brinkley pick.

I personally hope to see maybe another CB in there.

Nice mock buddy.

They won't waste a pick on a guy that is not as good as the 3 WRs here.

Yeah not to mention The Rams cutting ties with Holt and they have the 34th pick so they have a shot at going wideout here.They can take Crabtree but that would be stupid on their part because now that Pace is gone they have to anchor the LT position as well.They need a line bad but I see them going wideout at 34
