No, and the more i think, the more solid that draft is. It all comes down to if the FO can get a OLB that they like later, and they can get Nicks with one, and what they see in Berger, Satele at G, if Smiley isnt ready. Good draft and good analysis.

We all know how I feel about Nicks already haha. I've been praising/defending him like crazy. If we can get a solid OLB later in the draft, I'd be all for Nicks in round 1. But again, the front office would LOVE a disruptive force at OLB like English.

Also with Urbik, he did play right tackle as well. So, he's not just depth on the interior.

you guys are mighty confident that sean smith is a cb in our scheme. i'm not so sure.

if you take nicks at #25 you're most likely gonna be staring at a solid olb prospect like lawrence sidbury at #56 if you don't go olb at #44.

first three picks i think what makes sense is wr, olb, cb in some order given the depth of the draft and the value of the positions. probably cb in the second given the lack of ideal prospects speed wise and size wise for the position. unless the regime feels sean smith is a cb fit for us. then i could see him being the pick at #25. i definitely think he's a first round talent but i see cover 2 corner or zone scheme corner or free safety.

What I've taken into consideration for the first round is if the front office actually wants a wide receiver early.

Personally, I think they may be waiting to see what they got in Ginn's next season, Camarillo, Bess, London, Lowber, Armstrong and even Wilford. If none of them work out, there is a solid group next year that would garner tons of interest.

I believe Wilford will be cut soon after the draft. I'd say traded...but are there any more stupid teams left out there?

Wilford I have no problem getting rid of. But again, the front office may be waiting to see what they have already while adding a few late round pieces. Which I put Wallace and Boldin in. They are both good players with different abilities and competition is healthy. If Ginn doesn't step up to be the #1, there is solid talent in next year's draft as well. The front office speaks highly of Brandon London, and Anthony Armstrong and Todd Lowber are both raw talents to see what we have there. Again, I'd LOVE to draft Nicks. He's a gamer and would be the perfect player in this offense. But if the front office doesn't feel that wide receiver is much priority in the first round, a solid pass rusher would be very tempting.
