My observation from my first dolphins practice today

Its my first time ever going to an nfl teams practice and it was pretty cool. The sun was killing me so it was hard for me to focus on the practice but heres what i saw.

Marshall- was out there runnin drills with the qbs. Looks to be in good shape.

reggie- sittin on the sidelines with a dolphins hat.

Jake long- Was doing some light drills without pads on the sidelines with his arms.

davone bess- Determined as usual.

Henne- inaccurate

cameron wake and jared odrick- both did drills with pads and wake looks in great shape.

vontae- looked pretty fast and focused out there.

hartline- dropped out a few passes but looked good.

mike pouncey- i think my cousin said he saw pouncey out there, if it was him he looked huge!!!!! I would not wanna be infront of that guy lol. Haynesworth is in for a surprise :).

daniel thomas- dropped a few passes, didnt look at him much.

overall it was action packed out there, a few hard hits, alot of people yelling which was very annoying and aggravating. sparano with a orange shirt walking around. I like the practice alot and hopefully i can go to one more in a few weeks. I love the dolphins!!
 
lol that sun IS brutal...ive been to a bunch of practices the last few years and it is hot as hell there. Im not gonna be able to make it down to Florida this summer cuz i cant get off of work but i would love to go this year.

Now imagine with pads and helmets on running at full speed all day lol

Now you see why its good if we have home games early in the season.....its a HUGE advantage for us, the other teams might forfeit down here lol
 
Love the Henne description. Oh typical Henne. START DEVLIN.

True enough. ... I'm glad the NE game is on Monday night, but it does take that advantage away to some degree. (Hopefully it will be a hot night. But let's hope Albert doesn't have a heart attack.)
 
yeap but we dont play a home game at 1pm till the end of octuber Ridiculus Nfl, that our home field advantage

np man, i just hope next time i can stay til the end of practice to get some autographs. I was going to stay til the end but my cousin could not take the sun so we left at midway threw the practice.
 
Can you be more specific with your observations on Henne

1) Does he looks like he has some kind of command on the field?
2) You said he's inaccurate is that in general? is that long passes? Touch passes? etc
3) Based on your observation(its early i get that) does he seem beatable by any of the back-ups?

The staff set us up for failure on offense already, if chad henne's competition is devlin and matt moore and branstater and henne hasnt really beaten anyone out for a starting job before we are in serious trouble/confusion/lack of leadership on offense...incompetent individuals it seems pulling the trigger up there...
