First off, MY GOD WAS IT HOT! I mean, uncomfortable crazy hot. If this doesn't give them a huge advantage I would be suprised. Hopefully rain doesn't force them into the bubble too much.

Two of the biggest cheers of the day were when Ricky broke a long run and one for Jake Long. Ricky runs hard every play. He looks to be in great shape and Ronnie was very active as well. The Jake Long play was he had a horrible false start. The coaches had him run to the end of the field and back. The fans seemed to like that. It is the kind of discipline we have missing since the Shula days. Very good to see.

I went with my 5 year old nephew so we hung around to get autographs. First one was Jake. The guy is massive. You just don't realize how big until you are next to him. He is all smiles and stayed for a while to sign. Jay Feeley was super nice to everyone. Crowder at one point said, "hey look, that's Jay FIEDLER!" Giving Jay a hard time. Both of them were cracking up. Crowder is a genuine, funny guy who jokes around with everyone. Definitately one of the nicest players I have been around. He was giving a Hurricane fan a hard time about the upcoming Gator/UM game. Other players that stuck around to sign were Beck, Porter, Bess, Mauia, Wilford, Holliday and a few others. All super fan friendly. The only guy that seemed to be quiet was Wilford, but the fact that he stuck around to sign showed something. He is another guy that looks huge. Going to be a great red zone threat.

I am not much of an action reporter, but I am sure you will get that from some of our more qualified finheaveners. If you go, bring sunscreen and a ton of water. Also, they are selling Jason Taylor jerseys for $10.

Man it was so hot out there.
and i remember the play long jumped early, the place erupted.
i remember hearing somebody scream "That'll show you rook"

it was scary hot out there , no where to hide from the heat, yeah the jake long false start was funny...why did it seem like the te's couldnt catch? and joey porter was playing and merling looked massively overweight and exhausted from jus standing? shawn murphy looked good...tedd ginn dropped a pass the crowd let him hear that... hagan did good... and wilford man i didnt know how big he was till i seen him in person, that guy is HUGE, hes like twice the height of everyone else... seems like he should be playing center for the nba hahaha

yeah somebody said something about DOR too. i guess it was a military slang

i and joey porter was playing

I don't think Joey played today. I think he and Lehan just walked around and took it all in, and jogged a bit, I could be wrong though.

Anyway for those interested if you give me like an hour I will post a thread with a bunch of pictures from today's camp, so look for that if you want.

I'm looking forward to it!

In the military it means Date of Rank, which means what date you put your current rank on. DOR is also Department of Revenue, which might be what he was being heckled for...hehe

That's strange, never once did I hear that during my time in the Navy.
Just went over 19 years in the AF, never heard it either. I see date of rank on almost everything. May be a Supply thing. How about DFS? Don't false start...works for me.

I used to be a Rescue Swimmer Instructor, a voluntary High Risk school, were if the student did not want to continue due to the high risk, they could Drop On Request, but they had to understand that if they DORed, they would NEVER get a second chance at that school. We, the Instructors, had to brief the students of the TTO (Training Time Out) and DOR (Drop On Request) Policy before evry event.

I guess it's better than DOA

That's why I've never heard it. Thanks for clearing that up.

Drill Instructors constantly tempt you to DOR in Officer Candidate School. That was one fairly accurate aspect of that movie "An Officer And A Gentleman."
