lets put aside all the homerism towards daunte for a second.
we all know that defences get more confusing for a qb come playoff time.this is where the greatones make a name for themselves.this is where qbs crack and melt down.
what makes everyone so sure that daunte can handle the d of teams like ne and pitt in the playoffs.he wont have 5 seconds to throw on every play and he wont be the running threat that he once was.
the knock on him is that he has a hardtime reading ds,so why will this change when the big games start?

Firts Daunte has plenty of playoff experiance and for the last two years we have had QB's in their first year with us. Qb's get more accustomed to offenses late in the year also so that part don't make much sense to me. As for how much time he will have alot of people forget we gave up almost the fewest sacks in the NFL last year and both our RB's averaged over 4 yards per carry. Gus was known for holding the ball way too long and Daunte gets it out. NE and Pitt won't be the same this year and they don't scare me at all. Don't worry and:welcome: .

It's all good.... Ronnie will be blasting through the D instead!!!

we arnt dealing with a rookie here its Daunte Culpepper who is usually a regular in the playoffs, he has dealt with strong deffenses in the playoffs before and im sure with playing NE twice and year he will be fully prepared and know what to expect if we do play NE in the playoffs

what makes you think they'll make the playoffs?

Why do defenses like like Pitt and NE get tougher to score against in the post season? Because they step it up. Why do QB's and teams in general play better and tougher in the post season? Because they step it up. It's the playoffs and its do or die. Teams step it up or they go home. Maybe Culpepper isn't the best at reads, I don't know, but if we make the playoffs, I think Culpepper will find a way to step it up to meet the challenge of opposing playoff defenses.

Homerism?? Daunte has one thing here in Miami that he didn't have in Minnesota...a great coaching staff. When Minnesota made the playoffs, all you had to do was take Moss away and the coaches didn't know how to adapt. Here in Miami, hopefully our coaches won't come in with a one-dimensional game plan and this will make the difference.
