My Parents Just Met Jason Taylor in the Bahamas

I just got a call from my parents vacationing in the Bahamas. My dad has been a huge Dolphins fan since he came from Greece in 1972. He walked by him and thought he was a basketball player because he was so tall. He didn't realize that he's around 6'6. He took a closer look and was like wait a minute, he knew who this guy was. He went up to him and asked him if he played for the Dolphins and he obviously said yes. Then my dad said in his heavy Greek accent that he's a huge fan of the Dolphins. Taylor was absolutely pleasant but he was with his family so my dad didn't bug him for an autograph or anything. It was just a cool story and I just got the call so I'm pretty excited. I wish I was there!!!
 
aint they lucky I wish I could meet dolphin players just randomly or hell just randomly.
 
thats awesome..a few years ago i met jason taylor in the bahamas also at the atlantis, he was with eddie jones and i was able to get a picture with the both of them

Most fans see the players with helmets on, unless you see them interviewed there are probably a lot of NFL players you wouldnt recognize in street clothes or without a jersey on.
 
I met him at a BW3's back after his Senior year before the draft in Akron, he was pretty cool, and yes 6'6 is pretty friggin tall!
 
yeah 6'6 is tall when he's only 5'8. he did see him at atlantis and he is a huge dolphins fan he probably just didn't get a good look at him the first time. plus that's a good point about players always wearing their helmets. and that's another good point how the yankees suck

I was in Bahama Breeze about a month back at Sawgrass and Jason Taylor was there with his kids and wife and some other people(or could be ex wife). Not many people recognized him probably b/c he was wearing glasses, but I did recognize him as well as a couple sitting next to me. I was surprised how tall the guy was, but expected him to be more built.

My gf of course, the gossip queen noticed he didn't say one word to his wife the whole time she was there, and didn't have a ring on...lol It seemed that they weren't really talking, just there to spend time with the kids. I didn't bug him b/c he was out with the family and I thought it would be rude to approach the guy.

His wife is smoking hot btw and I was more interested in her than JT (DON'T TELL MY GF):ninja: .

athletes are alot larger then they look in our "small" TV lands......I met David Robinson in S.A. and came up to his crotch...the man is huge.....They just blend in together because they are all huge. well......a good portion of them.
 
Thats funny, I bumped into Zach Thomas in line at customs in the Bahammas. He needed to borrow a pen, we talked for about 15 minutes. He was with his fiance at the time (they got married at the breakers in palm Beach since) shes smoking hot. I think she was a cheerleader, or is still one. It was hard keeping my cool around him, ZT has been my fav player since Marino. But honestly, i was surprised at the time he spent BS'in with with me. Pretty dang cool dude.
