My QB prediction for this Sunday.

This may have already been suggested by someone else... But I'm starting to think that Saban has stated that he will start Gus primarily so that the Pats gameplan this way. But I don't believe he will be in for long. I think Sage will be coming in before much time has elapsed unless Gus really lights it up. There is just something about the way Saban has discussed the QB situation and his plans about the timing of a change etc. that leads me to this belief (hope). Anyone else get this feeling?

Of course, I'm no prophet or the son of a prophet so we'll just have to wait and see if I'm right.

i certainly would hope he is open to it but i've lost faith that saban has the patience to put in an untested qb. i think we're stuck with gus until the end of the year and i dont think we're drafting a qb with a high round draft pick. i believe we'll bring in a seasoned vet and possibly draft a qb with a later round pick

Just for arguement sake...Lets say Sage comes in and stinks the place up. Hows that look on Saban, then you put Gus back in?? Barring injury Gus plays the whole game.

I don't see it happening. Unfortunately, I think he'll stay with Gus until he either (1) stinks it up to high heaven (e.g., 4-5 ints), or (2) the Fins are out of playoff contention.

Why are people worried about how it will look if Sage plays poorly? After giving Sage a fair shot (3-4 games), put Gus back in if you really have to. If that happens, they'll probably both be gone next year, so who cares how it looks?
