B. Quinn
J. Harrington
C. Lemon and M.(Marcus) Vick (he is also 5th reciever)
Culpepper Leaves and Harringon starts the first couple games and Brady Quinn comes in after a couple of weeks and we go to Super Bowl XLII. Brady Quinn will go to the Pro Bowl and be the youngest starting QB in the Super Bowl (last held by Marino)

well it seems to me that i am the only one that is projecting who are backup qb's are going to be next year
The quarterback is the most important position. Period.

what happens June 7, 2010 anyway?

If Joey plays like he has been, and has a year under his belt in Miami, I think Saban and Co. might just stick with him, because it seems to me that the team is responding positively to him. Also, to get Quinn, you've got to have the #1 pick, most likely.

I could see Joey starting with Cleo backing up, and then Marcus Vick being the 3rd QB/WR.

seriously, it all depends on our final 8 games. which is more likely though Culpepper or Quinn? If we have less than 6 wins then I say Quinn. If we have 6 or more than I say neither.

I honestly don't think we will be drafting in a position that B. Quinn will be available to us. Your idea would be a nice situation though. I believe that if Joey improves on throwing the deep ball, and gains experience with his receivers and with the system, that he will be a solid starting QB for the Fins.

First someone has to take Culpepper's bloated salary off the books and that's presuming Quinn's not a system QB.

Are you watching the games? I respect Joey's effort each and every week but he's not exactly tearing it up and is making too many mistakes. This week the 2 picks were entirely his fault. He also missed 2 wide open WRs on the deep ball. Luckily nothing we couldn't overcome. Our defense isn't going to play like this everyweek and at some point we will need to count on our QB to win us a game. I'm not sure Joey is that guy.

As far as Culpepper being here next season: the guy is not going anywhere. We have a lot invested in him (2nd rounder) and he has WAY TOOO much talent to give up on him so soon, not to mention the circumstances surrounding his situation. He didn't play badly, and the only true knock on him was his lack of mobility and holding onto the ball too long. But I saw a guy who was pretty accurate and made better decisions as the weeks went on.

The fact that Saban is considering shutting him down for the rest of the season, virtually ensures he will be with us next season. And he will go into the offseason entrenched as next year's starter. Unless Joey becomes Marino in the next 8 games.

I honestly think we haven't found the answer. Two picks a game doesn't win Super Bowls. Dan Marino never had a Ronnie Brown. Next year we will have Ricky Williams. Those two, a reliable reciver, and a real QB are the most important people on a team because they score the points.

This is why your not the head coach.

HAHA! Took the words right out of my mouth.

Dolfan707;
Maybe you've herd of a guy named Daunte Culpepper. I'm pretty sure he's a Dolphin now.

ok. If Culpepper turns out to be anything special, or even throw another pass in a Dolphin uniform, then I will be proved wrong.

Be prepared for that my friend.

I find it to be hilarious that people actually want to write off a guy that has only played a handful of games in a new system and coming off a serious injury (still is injured, to be completely honest). Sure he played poorly but he did show improvement from game to game albeit still not being able to move like he used to. JH has done nothing NOT ONE THING to show why we should stick with him far into the future over DC. WE know Daunte is a special player, we're not waiting for him to develope a special skill or miraculously become a good #1 QB... he has proven that in the past and I'm confident that when healthy he will show that he is special again. Also I feel that when DC comes back healthy he will be returning to an improved Oline and more experience working in this offense.
