my mock right now would be...

1) Sintim if not curry but i expect curry to be top 5-10 pick. Sintim, OLB great pass rusher with great speed and hits VERY hard. Good in coverage and can play teh WOLB spot while porter is aroudn and eventually take his spot. 6'3 and 254. Perfect size for a BP lber.

2a) believe it...Rashaad Johnson will fly up the boards due to great coverage skills, speed, and instincts. Thats what our secondary lacks is coverage and he will bring that nicely. Bell should be resigned and this will definitely free up JOhnson to man the FS spot. 6'0 at 187. Prob play at 6'0 at about 198 in the NFL.

2b) Johnson CB from a small school at 6'2 200 lbs wiht great speed if not someone like lindley if he declares but I'm not quite sure if he will fall this far. I'd also like to see a WR, (Byrd) a NT, or a ILB here.

If miami gets Mcfadden or Dunta Robinson we can have a very nice secondary here. Those 2 wont garner much money either and we can use taht on a guy liek Dansby for ILB spot if he doenst get tagged or somewehre else.

Nice read btw...

I agree with with the 1st pick. We definately go OLB. Sintim and Curry are both good prospects.

As for 2a, I don't really agree there. I truly think we have a diamond in the rough in Tyrone Culver who can man the FS position. Same thing goes for Brandon London, he's a star WR in the making imo. We definately need a NT, ILB, CB, G, and perhaps a WR or 2 in later rounds. ILB spot very well might be filled in Free Agency from the Ravens. They have Terrel Suggs, Ray Lewis, and Bart Scott all free agents. No way do I see Ravens letting Suggs go. I'm guessing they will resign Lewis as well. Paying top dollar to 2 LB's probably means Scott is let go, and I hope we pick him up. Pretty good ILB and only 28 years old.

Like the first pick. Pretty realistic to. Like the second pick. We need a FS( If we dont have one in Culver). Rashad Johnson can be a good FS in the NFL. The domonique Johnson pick is questionable. I love him as a player and i think he can be very good. But we need a young NT. I would pick B.J Rali or Terrance Taylor.

Overall, very very good draft. 9/10

you think Rali will last to 2b? i doubt it. I think he'll go around the 25-45 range.

You can definitely switch out Johnson for B.J. Raji, this kid is a monster. If we take a safety anywhere in the 1st 3 rounds, look out for FS Derek Pegues in the 3rd. But like I've said, it's hard to tell what we do in this draft because I don't know what Parcells thinks of FS (Tyrone Culver), NT (Paul Solai), WR (Brandon London), and CB (Jason Allen). Although CB I can see us definitely taking somebody within the 1st 3 rounds. Even if Parcells really likes what he sees in JA, Will Allen is 30 years old, and while he has been great at coverage, he fails to pick off the ball. So I can certainly see us getting a stud ballhawk CB to groom.

thats why i believe we go OLB round 1, and from 2a, 2b, and 3 its either a CB, S, ILB, NT, or WR. I am sure we will go for a Mcfadden esque CB in FA and get a guy from 2a, 2b, or 3 to groom.

i wouldnt mine a Sintim, Cody PLZZ in 2a if not Raji 2a, a Cb 2b and a S at 3. or a WR at 3 and a S at 4

Nmandi Asomugha please :d-day: I will accept Gamble, Robinson, and McFadden as well ;)

I like your first two picks. Both Sintim and Johnson would be great. I do agree that we need a stud CB, I think Darius Butler out of UConn would be a good pickup with our second 2nd round pick.

You stole my thunder when you mentioned Darius Butler...lol...this guy is going to go early...I look for another UCONN prospect to be considered by Parcells and company..

Patrick Robinson / FSU is another corner I like that could be had probably in the 3rd round or so.

I really like Wopamo Osaisai's bump-and-run, press coverage prowess...along with Joe Burnette / UCF, and Kevin Barnes / Maryland...

Another interesting CB to look at is Londen Fryar from Western Michigan, I believe. He has NFL bloodlines (his dad is Irving Fryar) and is fairly underrated.

I've said it a couple of times in previous posts, Sintim is not a OLB in the league, but a great 3-4 ILB. He has all of one move and its to run past the OL. That wont work in the NFL and like Indys DEs, people would just run right underneath him as the OL pushes him wide. Cury would be a BLOCKBUSTER pick. He would give us a LB that can play all 4 positions, cover, support the run and blitz.

But my pick for ILB has changed from Rey M. to Jasper Brinkley. Rey is falling down charts due to play, but will probably still end up in the first because of a good combine and someone falling in love with his potential. But Jasper has rebounded from injury faster than expected, and is playing lights out. He is even bigger than Rey and has way better instincts.

Free agents wish list Nnamdi and Suggs.

I don't know if it's possible for me to disagree with that analysis more.

At least we can agree on most of that.

Fair enough, but what is it that you like about him so much. And how is he more dynamic than a speed rush. And trust, I've seen him play.

I obviously can't speak for CK, but what I see is a player that has the ability to consistantly shed and disengage from blocks...even EXPLODE off of them at times.

I've seen him run through (not around) offensive lineman, and chase down the quarterback from behind....against Miami and Jacory Harris for example...

Projecting him inside is in essence, neutralizing one of his best assets...his speed. He's terrific at playing in traffic and sifting through it also...so I can see sorta where you're coming from in that respect...but he wouldn't bring the coverage dimension that a LB like Curry would bring inside in a 3-4.

Brinkley is the prototype inside 'backer for the 3-4 IMO....
