my Steelers Vs. Dolphins Pre-Game Report

What have you seen this preseason out of AJ Feeley that has impressed you so far?
I saw nothing in AJ this preseaon that really impress me, he did play the first game vs Chicago, we were not ready for that game, they were blitzing like crazy, which AJ played ok. Against the Jags he really had no chance to play. Gus got the job, I wish him the best, we need a QB big time in this team and Gus is not the answer.....

The Brook Trout Bros...(Vickerson and Wright) will both play great tonight.

Steelers will have a chance at the SB IF the offense becomes less predictable. In 2004 it was power running and Hines Ward almost exclusively and that was effective until they ran into the Pats. Drafting a TE made perfect sense [ hardly used TE in the passing game at all in 2004] but unless they also begin using their backs in the passing game they will fall victim to Cowhers consevatism again. Pats also exposed deep coveage on go-routes and this should be a concern but front 7 is excellent.
Saban is clearly intent on making the Dolphins bigger, more versatile and more agressive, welcome news after years of being considered 'soft' and running a simplistic, zeo wrinkle defense [ which was effective often thanks to all the talent, but D sucked up 70 percent of the cap]. The stunts and blitzes he ran vs Jvlle=5 1st half sacks and represent the shape of things to come. On offense I also expect much more versatility thanks to Linehan, light years better than Forrestor [ and Norv Turner] and that Houck will, in time, develop an effective off line. Miami has the toughest sched in the NFL in 2005 and gets to play alot of cold weather games vs very good AFC east opps so I think 8-8- would be an accomplishment. As Saban will not trade away draft picks for chumps [ like AJ Feely] or sign high priced free agents for short term impact, I expect the team to make the play-offs as a wild card next year.

The Dolphins are looking for their first 2005 pre-season win, as they are 0-2 facing the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Big Ben Rothlisberger apears to be playing well, showing that his 04 Rookie season wasn't a fluke. He will make some big plays tonight.
The Dolphins will look a little shakey, with Gus Frerotte as their starting QB. Gus will need to prove that he is the best QB on the team, as QBs Sage Rosenfels, A.J. Feeley, and rookie Brock Berlin, try proving they can play. Gus will need to good, as roomers spread of the Dolphins looking at Tim Couch.
Sage Rosenfels will play good tonight, which I believe will make A.J. Feeley the 3rd string QB. Sage really needs to prove that he is better than Feeley, and possibly Frerotte tonight.
Ronnie Brown will get to play tonight. He may have one big run, but that will be about it. He wont play that much. Ricky Williams will be a threat. Both Sammy Morris and Lamar Gordon are looking for a spot on the depth chart, aswell as Travis Minor.
I dont know what to expect out of David Boston. He suffered from an injury in last weeks practice. Marty Booker & Chris Chambers should have some good snags tonight.
On Miami's defensive side of the ball. I see Yeramiah Bell having a great game. Miami's defense will play well.
Jerome Bettis will pound some tough yardage in the redzone tonight....Look for Antwan Randel el to have some great plays.
Pittsburgh's defense will win them this game. 24-16
Pretty good Ivel. Not really sure Boston actually suffered an "injury". Just sat out a practice with a sore knee. Don't look for Sage to pass Feeley. Just don't see it happening. Nice write-up though

sorry but since the odds makers are dropping the line i think that if miami dont win the game tonite pitt will win by 3-7 points tops but i look 4 miami to win this game stright up and u heard it here first  soo save this link and quote me after the game

Who knows??? Doug Williams got a SB ring and Brad Johnson and a few other crap QB's.....we could win it with a great running game (RB and Ricky) and a solid kick a$$ defense.....YEAH that's it!!! ;)
