Yeah, Joey really does suck. Not only does Joey usually throw balls into the hands of our receivers, but he actually has the audacity to expect them to catch it too?!?!? MAN!! What the heck is wrong this guy!! He is obviously a complete loser! A good qb would at least catch the ball for his receivers too, or at the very least, knock down the passes that bounce off the receivers hands and into the hands of our opponents, which means that 4 of the 7 int's Joey has thrown this year were all on him. Yup, joey's numbers tell the WHOLE story. Let's place ALL the blame on him!!

Not only does Joey suck at throwing the ball, but did you see how that worthless pile of crap just stood there on the sideline as Ahman Green ripped off that 70 yard TD run? He made NO effort to make a tackle on that run AND he was clealry out of position!!
Don't even get me started about what a horrible job Joey did today covering the Green Bay receivers, that was just pathetic!! Where is Eddie Jackson when you really need him.

If it were not for the omnipotent/genious playcalling by Mularkey and flawless penalty/mistake free play of EVERY other member of this team, and "never give up" attitude and effort displayed by the defense through a full 4 quarters of football, I tell ya, this loss would have just been downright embarrassing. At least me and all the other Joey bashers on this board can see what is REALLY going on, I just don't understand why the rest of you can't open your eyes and see what an awful qb Joey is, and that he is responsible for most if not all of the problems the team is having this year. Also, does Joey even KNOW what run blocking or pass blocking is. I knew immediately we were in trouble from the get go with what a bad job joey did trying to open up holes for Ronnie to run through. And let me just say that Joey's pass protection skills are no where NEAR to being on par with that of other elite NFL qbs. Hopefully Saban will get off drugs soon and put Lemon or Vick in at qb, as that will obviously solve all of our problems. There, the voice of reason has spoken.:m359: :googly: :drinker: :bong2: :allhail:

i agree man he shouldve thrown the ball in the air real high and blocked the blitzer and caught the ball back and throw it

u forgot to mention his field goal kicking abilities are horrible

THANK YOU!! I meant to put that in my original post!! Joey is by far the most overpaid kicker in the history of the nfl, end of story!!!

Don't forget about the INTs that Joey keeps dropping. I guess that's why he doesn't play WR. :shakeno:

All sarcasm aside, Joey is not a good QB its that simple. I did not realize this until the packer game but he can not make something out of nothing. If the play breaks down the play is over, joey can't make anything happen on hs own. He can't escape pressure or improvise in anyway. Just listen to his own words. He wants to be a system guiy, told what to do. Well thats great but things don't always work out that way, then what?

I am sorry but until the packers game I was in the wait and see mode with joey. I have seen enough he is not the answer. I would let cleo lemon start the next 4-6 games and hopefully daunte can finish the season.

I SEE NO REASON AT ALL TO GIVE UP A 5TH ROUND PICK FOR JOEY WHEN WE COULD GIVE UP A 6TH.

Wouldn't it be great if everyone on the offense did their jobs, and Joey didn't have to improvise?

Sure would make him seem like a much better QB if that happened.

Stop blaming everyone else for joeys bad performances... What quarterback couldn't do well when everyone else does their job? Don't you want the guy that can make something happen or overcome others mistakes? You really want the guy where everything has to be perfect? Do you even realize what your saying?

Is it the receivers or the QB? Yes, they both suck.

Sure i want to have a QB that can improvise and make up for other's mistakes since they are so obviously making them all the time....but, we have Joey Harrington, and that's not his game. So, I can sit here and waste my time hoping Joey can be something he's not, or I can sit here and expect everyone else to play like they're capable of playing.

And tell me what good improvisation will do when the WRs just drop the ball anyway. :confused2

If a guy at a position doesn't play great great, them not being the answer means:

Chambers-not the answer
McMike-not the answer
Booker-not the answer
Anyone really on oline-not the answer
Brown-not the answer

The real question is. What position upgrade would help the "team" get better the most and is possible this offseason.

If that answer is quarter back and a better one is available, then we should do it.

I have been more let down by the recievers than the quarterbacks this year. We need a reliable playmaker at the position. Other than that we need lineman who can let the other players make more of an impact.

Right, QB's are either "good" or they are "bad", the and world is very simple.

So his performance is considered "bad" because he couldn't make something out of nothing? I don't know if you watch much football - but if there's nothing open and things are breaking down, most QB's either try and make a play or try and get rid of the ball. That's what JH did yesterday. Obviously he made a couple of mistakes and a couple of bad throws but also he was under constant pressure, 4 sacks after just 1 sack the previous two games ... Sorry but everything is not that "simple".

Oh yeah... And Daunte is just a MASTER of escaping pressure and improvising ain't he?? I'm sorry he's not... Even when completely healthy!

And buddy... TOM BRADY is a system player. The Pats designed a great system and put the right players around him to help him succeed! Now I'm NOT proclaiming that Joey will ever be a Tom Brady but.... You think Brady would enjoy the success he has if players were dropping his passes left, right and center??? :shakeno:

You're going to be very sad when Culpepper is starting in 07.
