I feel this team is shaping up for a nice run, My only concern will be and still is Henne.....I see improvement from him compared to last yr. The game seems to have slowed for him, which is good news.....he now sees the rush without taking his eyes from downfield, seems to have better feet and makes good throws....can he continue to improve? we will see.....
I like our OL and how they look, they played against the B team but they dominated......Pouncey looks quick and light on his feet for a 300lb.....I don't see him moving big NT around but I do see him getting to the second level on sweeps and draws.....I like how these guys look in pass protection.....by week 6-7 they will be a top 5 OL if they stay healthy......
No worries about the D I think this will be a solid unit and keep us in every ball game.
RB- I like this unit...they have good speed, quick and run hard, upgrade over last yr
We left to many points on the field and this needs to be cleaned up......we have time with two more PS games to go....I am starting to see a shoot out against the Pats but we have to finish plays and drives.......if Henne can get on the same page with Gates on the long ball and be more accurate with Marshall on the short and intermediate routes I think we have a shot at the division.....
It was fun watching this offense get chunks of yards and the speed was noticeable......I want to see this offense come out next week and march down the field on the first and second possession and score at least 10 points....no drive killing penalties, no turnovers, no drop passes (Fasano) against a good Tampa D that will be ready to play after a bad week last week....
This team is starting to get me excited, as I now can see, what the FO vision is for the type of team they are trying to put on the field.....all the personal moves are starting to make more sense.........there job depends on Henne right arm and rightfully so......
