I was at the game today and these are a few thoughts i have.....

First off we have no passing game. Joey has happy feet and our recievers have butter fingers except welker. The play calling was hideous. It started out nicely and we moved the ball on the ground but we needed a few passes to get it in....and they didnt come. Second, let Lemon start, the guy played relatively well and looked very good on the 30+ yard hook up with welker near the end. He is certainly going to be better that harrington is in the last two games. I feel terrible for our defense. Zach was all over the feild and played awesome and JT came up with some deflections and a sack and forced fumble. I honestly see a good team in ours for next year if we get c-pep healthy. We lack a quarterback, everyone knows it. Having ronnie and ricky back there will certainly make things nice also.

We will continue to lack a QB until we draft one. DC is a big question mark, so I wouldn't go into the offseason with all my money betting on him.

Fire Mularky?

I actually thought the playcalling was rather good (except for the 4th down calls) . . .but it is obvious that Nick and Mike were scared that Joey was gonna make mistakes. When they tried to open it up, Joey was staring down receivers and making TERRIBLE throws. And he had time, maybe more pressure than usual . . .but WAYYYY more time than Daunte had against this team.

believe me, it was no good. The whole first quarter we just ran the ball and threw the ball maybe 3 or 4 times? They knew the run was coming and stuffed it. If we would of thrown it in the first and second quarters i think it could of been 10-0 us.

Also, all of our throws in the first half(the few we had) were short quick passes that did NOTHING. We needed to go a little deeper like we did at the end with lemon.

Hard to throw when there is no confidence in your QB, we saw why they didn't throw in the 2nd half.

Mike Malurkey is a moron. They were stopping our run after the first quarter, and Joey never got a chance to get warmed up, same with our recievers, they needed to pass more, plain and simple. Out of the 17 throws they had with Joey, most were in the end of the third, when we were already down. So WTF?

I've said this before and got flamed....but I'll say it again anyway. When we lose, you see "fire mularky" everywhere. When we win, he gets little or no credit. I dont like mularky, as a matter of fact, but there were plenty of reasons we lost this game outside of the playcalling. You actually have to have a QB that can play at a high level no matter the weather conditions. Harrington is not a starting caliber QB on a team that isn't surrounded by loads of talent.

We actually controlled the game early on but couldnt take advantage of field position and drives into buffalo territory. After the 2nd missed 4th down, I had a bad feeling and the team never really moved the ball all that well after that until the very end in garbage time. Bottomline, I agree mularky isn't good but its not always his fault when we lose. Harrington IMO is responsible for the loss against Jacksonville, for example.

I agree about Jacksonville, even though we couldn't really stop the run either. But yes, Harrington made some detrimental mistakes in the Jaguars Game. However this game I feel is different. They never really let him throw. And Malurkey either goes PASS PASS PASS or RUN RUN RUN and hardly ever grows some balls and calls a trick play. We see those every once in a blue moon and a lot of times they work. Why don't we try them more?

But we were running the ball well, and the conditions didn't favor a innaccurate passer like Harrington . . . hell Joey can't even throw the ball accurate down field in ideal conditions . . . u think they wanted to give him confidence in those crappy conditions. Joey proved his worth when he made those 2 HORRBILE INT's . . . I mean iono, the guy sucks and I hope Cleo plays the rest of the year to see if he can be our backup next year and we draft someone to groom for the future (this all depends if Daunte is healthy, if he is . . . then u can chance a later QB . . . ala Jordan Palmer . . . if iffy on Pep . . . then u gotta go early w/ a Brohm or someone like that).

I saw alot of bad play, tons of dropped passes . . . but when your QB kills your drives . . . every game . .. then changes need to be made

But thats the thing. H edoesn't do it all the time. And I know, but it's just hard not to stuick with him when you see him capable of good things against way better teams than damn Buffalo (The Bears, The Pats, KC)

Yeah, if "rather" is synonymous with "not" then the play calling was rather good.

Mike should be put on death row fo rhis play calling today. He's just not good. And another thing. Why not go for it at the end of the game? They just kept continuing to punt it which pissed me off. Why the hell not just go for it. I mean you're being shut out!
