Anyone who actually read my last weeks gambling corner is laughing at me right now because I scored big on the games I wasn't sure on, and screwed up on the games I was so sure on.
Last week's record: 8-7-1. I tied on the miami game.
So this week I'm gonna do it differently, I am gonna give you three games that I am 95% sure on, then I'll do the rest.
1.Bears -11 over Cardinals: The Bears have outscored their opponents by 26 points or more in all but one game. The one game they won 19-16 to the Vikings was against a good defense on the road. This game is against a terrible defense and a good but learning rookie QB against a DOMINANT Bears defense. Matt Leinart is gonna get rocked, especially if his offensive line doesn't show up. I would take this game at 20 points, but at 11, I call it free money.
2.Eagles -3.5 over Saints: Yeah, yeah the Saints are for real whatever, but you know who's actually for real? Yeah it's Mcnabb, look at his stats from this year, 11 tds 1 pick. Hmmm he's going up against a young saints team who is going to get a reality check this week. I call this your free lunch of the week.
3.Bengals -6 over Bucaneers: Wait, wait, wait... Cincinatti is 3-1, and the Bucs are 0-5. Cincy has Palmer, Tampa has Gradkowski. Cincy has an offense featuring Chad, TJ, Palmer, Rudi. Tampa has an offense featuring Galloway, Gradkowski, Cadillac, and.........wait, how many yards does cadillac have? How many TDs? What is the deal with this spread? Only 6 come on, it's gonna be a slaughter.
Ok, so now I am just going to go in no particular order, a quick synopsis of this weekends games.
4.Buffalo -1 over Detroit. Yeah they looked like crap against the bears, so did almost every other team. The lions are 0-5 and i hate to say it but buffalo will win.
5.Carolina -3 over Baltimore. Until Baltimore knows how to play offense, they aren't going to make the playoffs. Wait didn't they have this problem every year since they won the superbowl? Repeat.
6.Houston +13.5 over Dallas. Don't get me wrong, Dallas will win, but Houston will put up enough points to cover.
7.Atlanta -3 over NY Giants. I think the Giants are good, but their defense has been getting scored on, and the falcons are better than the Giants at this point especially with all the turmoil.
8.Rams +3.5 over Seattle. Wow, I can't believe I'm doing this, but with no running game against an improved rams team IN ST. LOUIS, I pick the underdog. The key is in the dome in St. Louis.
9.Washington -10 over Tennessee. Tennessee's secondary is bad, and Mark Brunell has the Santana Moss connection.
10.Kansas City +7 over Pittsburgh. Ben will hit his leading recievers many times this game, leading being Ty Law and Patrick Surtain.
11.Miami +3 over Jets. I will never pick the Jets and Miami's D looks good, Joey will find a way.
12.SF +10.5 over SD. Phillip Rivers is NOT for real. Alex Smith is.....better.
13.Denver -15 over Oakland. 15 is alot to give up, but I can't pick the raiders, wait how many tds has denver's D given up???? 1? Wow, how can you pick against them?
