My WR depth chart goes as follows...

1. Chamber's-I dont care about his numbers..he's the biggest threat on the team.

2.Booker-I was impressed by Booker Monday..I was there and he runs routes very well..(showed some excitment also)..he's a modern day Mcduffie.

3.Boston-Everyone know's how I feel about his talent..If healthy he will be a force.

4.Gilmore-Very impressive a great fit for the #4

...Guy's I like DT..but his welcome is running out with me, If he had not made that game winning catch vs. the Pat's..he may have been done in the offseason...sorry DT ..but gilmore is a better ST'er and were not cuttin Wes.....you may be the odd man out.

I loved the Wes Welker slant.... with his speed he might just break one of those one day.

I kinda agree with you. Thompson may not make the team in the end. Why you may ask, because Chambers and Booker are locks. Boston look good last night(I know it was just preseason), and if he can regain his old form, he will make the team. Gilmore is fast, and played decent last year and could make a bigger impact on this year's deep passing game. Plus Welker will make the team as the kick/punt returner, and seems to be more involved in the passing game. Thompson is not realiable, and I wouldn't be upset if we got rid of him. Maybe we should offer him up in a trade for a WR desperate team. I would take either a 6th or 7th for him. Also, maybe we could do some sort of trade and package Gordon and Thompson for a 3rd or 4th rounder. Just thoughts. ;)

I am in the same boat with DT. I like the guy, however he seems a little too much like Boston or Booker to be the 4th wide reciever. Plus the fact he makes some bad drops. Plus the fact did you see Gilmore as a flyer? Gilmore right now brings more to the table than DT.

Thomson would make a good 4th guy he improved last year but not hes still an average at best WR.

What a steal getting Welker Texas Ranger was huh? he can do anything lets see how is arm is.

I agree. Good unbiased post.

I have the same Depth chart, I think Wes welker could be an ex-factor in the passing game for some situations, where he may be in , in a shot gun formation and throw a quick screenm, because the guy has some some nice moves, and could be dangerous in quick screens or slants where he has some room to run, Use him sometimes like K.C uses Dante Hall sometimes in passin situations. obviously Dante Hall is better but Welker, could be dangerous in those situations though.

Boston is injury prone. Chambers has a history of getting dinged here and there. Miami will carry 5 WR's and Thompson is going nowhere.

He may not play much, but he is here.

Who are you cutting for Thompson though? Boston, Welker or Gilmore?

Who do you see getting cut?

DBoston -- nice post, man. You and I are in agreement on that order.

none. Welker is a special teams player, nothing more nothing less. Je gets his own little "niche" spot on the roster.

I'm carrying Boston, Chambers, Booker, Gilmore, AND Thompson

I dunno. Danny Farmer had a nice catch.

i think Chamber should play some slot(not all the time) but at least a little to get Boston on some sideline routes and such

Not to really point anything out Mike...but..do you always have to go against every post being made. Most people aggreed with what the poster said...and as predictable as you can possibly get...here comes MikeO with his sour arse answers. Man...you must live under a perpetual dark cloud.

Now what? Im not being negative? Im not bashing anyone's opinion. I am pointing out I think they will carry all of these WR's. Jesus Christ., where is the dark cloud?????????? Most people agreed, I didn't. And I never ripped the guy, I said he was right but I think Thompson won't be cut.:shakeno: :shakeno:

I just presented an opinon. Get over yourself. :shakeno:
