nfl network reported that clements will probably be franchised by the bills. the tag # for corners is reported to be around 5 million next year and the bills are reported to be leaning towards franchising him if a long term deal can't be reached. just thought i would put that out there since a lot of us on here would like to see us make a run at a good corner at a position of need for our fins!!

where did the 5 mil come from? i think that it is probably between 7-8 mil for the average of the top 5 salaries

i may be a little on the low side, i believe that woodson was franchised by oakland last year at 10.5 mil

we need one good corner and you would be amazed at how much that would improve our secondary...we could roll coverage to help the weaker corner

I pray we don't end up going after this guy. He i gonna end up being in the top 5 highest paid corners in the league after this offseason and I can live without that hit to our cap. Saban will find another diamond in the rough through the draft. I don't see him going after a high priced free agent.

Im tellin ya, I think they should get Zemaitis from Penn State if we need a corner and moving daniels to safety. All Big-Ten team 2 years in a row. Jim Thorpe nominee, good size, good speed and has been a blanket on some of the top receivers. He will be showcased against Fl. St. His stock will rise and should fall to the dolphins possibly in the 3rd rd or 4th rd

the franchise tag is the average top 5 salaries for the guys at that position. Unless they all took paycuts, I dont see how it can go down.

At 5 million a year for a franchise CB.... thats a steal.

i would never take clements.......his stock has dropped seriously since chambers abused him.
