Well I wouldn't really call them heartless with those type of moves. I see what you mean but practice squad minimum is 6,700 a week. So if hes actually on the team and signs a minimum, I would assume its more than 10k just for being here a week. For a guy whos not playing, thats a good amount of money for doing nothing at all but maybe working out, which is something I would love to do at home with a pro trainer.
i dont like the merry go round of sign and cutting players..
especially when some players like carrol get complete immunity to cutting..
trusnick, spitler wastes of space on the 53..
Crazy thought, but since most sports players don't save their dough and live it up like mc hammer...This case being NFL tho, I was wondering if like players tell coaches they know and have some kind of good relationship with to get them signed a week if please or longest possible just to help em out so they can pay their bills & etc like making it rain on some strip club?
P.S. - Tony Banana knows Nate Jones from their Dallas days, so I was just saying some kind of conspiracy? lol...
How much more, if any, of Ross's $money did they waste on that short-lived adventure? Hopefully there were some guarantees involved, and those were enough to be the straw that finally broke the camel's back.
