He could of made that FG!! It was a good distance!! if matt bryant a traveller can make a 60 yarder Kaeding should of been good

Gezz it was a 54 yrd attempt not exactly a chip shot.

Yeah, perhaps he could have rushed the ball 3-4 more yards to make it a more manageable field goal and stopped the clock with that TO.

Though, the kick itself didn't look like it had enough pop for 49 yards.

Good point. That kick had it not been wide right wouldn't have made it over the cross bar but quite a lot.
 
the kick actually fell short from the side angle.It would have to been a 45 yrd to get in with the same height.He was wide right too .

The timeout came out and bit him.NFL game day was saying rivers ran to marty and asked him to throw the flag after looking at the jumbotron and the challenge did not come from the box ..... that was a big 1.
 
I think teams wasting their timeouts in a game that is probably going down to the wire is a tremendous mistake. That last drive was purely pathetic, I'm amazed they managed to get into FG position at all but I knew they wouldn't make it.

When are coaches gonna stop listening to the players on these challenges.

Saban did that this year with Welker.

Just pay someone on your staff to watch replays and let him/her decide
 
Kaedings last miss at home was two years ago in the playoffs against the Jets....he only misses during big playoffs games.

Marty is a bad coach because he called a play for his WR to drop catchable balls, special teamer to fumble and that his DB to int and fumble the ball. Dont pin this loss on him.
