Regrettably, Boise has no real shot this year. It might help to think about the National Championship in stages. A few years ago, Boise State would never have even made a BCS game. Now, I think they have opened the door a little wider for themselves and other smaller schools, and it will make the selection for the next BCS game that much easier. Boise State accomplished a lot this year, and I really don't think they could beat the Nuts anyway, so finishing the season undefeated is a good place to stop this year.
I know, I know, it still would be nice to have a shot.
Re: Florida, I still think Ohio State will get votes in the A.P. even if they lose. Florida would probably still win, but with a loss already, they would not be the clear champion. By rights, the Nuts should be that right now.
