Only the strong survive. Under this theory we should be able to weed out mentally weak, overpriced and or ineffective players next year. Here's my list of players, if Saban's word holds true who should/could be gone.

Reggie Howard- first on the list, a big play given up every game, enough said.
Junior Seau- too old, expensive and runs himself out of too many plays
Sam Madison- doesn't tackle well or catch the ball anymore
Tebucky Jones- not good enough

Trade you if I can
Chambers- Love the guy but mental toughness is in question, could get a real #1 WR any number of ways all of which might be cheaper
Mare- not an elite kicker, maybe not worth his salary, also not clutch anymore
Zach-all effort guy who has thrown in some stinkers this year in bad spots. This is harsh but he might be more of a symbol of past frustrations and mental weakness than a real problem.

but if you want to say that thomas and talyor may be the biggest contributors to the team's disposition, you have no argument from me
