Shaq has played well this year. This is not surprising since he always tries to prove a point for a season or two after he leaves a team and then he'll stink again, possibly as early as next year.

I'm glad he was here to help the Heat get a ring, and now I'm happy he's somebody elses problem.

It is an isn't. Stats serve to legitimize, and without those numbers Shaq wouldn't be in the all star game. When hes on the court Shaq is the best center in the west. You can argue about the limited minutes or sitting out of back to back games but to me the all star game is a showcase of the best players in the game, not some cumulative achievement award.
