So, last night during the Chicago Bulls vs Heat game, I notice that Nocioni got a technical for just raising his arms up, not even a face expression or anything.

And right now, Rasheed Wallace got ejected. We all know this is the "Rasheed Wallace" rule. Will this guy survive in this league with this rule? And is it just me, or is this rule too strict? I swear, it's like you can't have any emotion.

I like the rule at the beggining, but now it is just getting ridiculous, SO EARLY IN THE SEASON.

Well they have to establish it harsher at the begining, so people know that they are serious about enforcing it... I am sure it will cool down as the season continues to advance.

i am sorta glad, i am so sick of watching people complain after every call, it looks bad.

They said its going to hurt players that cant control their emotions in the 4th.

Good for the League, as a fan Im so tired of Rasheed being in highlights every night for complaining and getting technicals every night. Kick him out of a few games, suspend him and take his checks, maybe he will learn to act like some kind of adult. Hes never learned, maybe when his team starts losing games because he gets kicked out he will stop. The NBA players spend WAY too much time worrying and complaining on the court about the Refs.

I would be for this rule if the officiating in the NBA wasn't so HORRIBLE.

im kinda split on this. Emotions is part of the game. I think its just too much controlling by stearn. You want to weed out the Rasheed but unfortunately this rule could hurt alot of teams. Especially in the playoffs when emotions are at their highest.

i think they are taking it to far, but that could be just starting off to show that they mean business and they will lighten up. I think they need to lighten up but i am still for the rule. I think they should really just look for the arguing with teh officials or complaining. Throwing your Arms in the arm isn't bad at all, thats something you really cant control in the heat of a batte

The NBA was starting to look like soccer.

I'm glad this rule is in place and frankly, who cares who gets ejected in the first quarter of the season. It'll settle down for the playoffs

I am all for the new rule....gotta let these whiney crybabies know that they can't whine after every foul call (got it Sheed?).

the rule was mainly created because a lot of players (mainly Sheed and the other Pistons) verbally assaulted the refs after every foul.

The refs have been to tech happy, but I think it's them just getting payback.
